Worked a 17.5 hr shift last eve/night from 3pm to 7:45am.... had to be back at 3pm to work during Cerner (new charting system) go-live today.... another 1 hr of OT.... home at 1am.... AND I HATE CERNER.

Life may hate me, but my bank account won't....

(and I payed for my speeding ticket about 5x over last night, too. Bonus.)

And we still have no where to live in Georgia.

Get to go sit in Cedar Rapids Iowa for a few days. I have to take the wife there. She teaches and lectures for two days. I shouldn't complain though, she's earning our retirement money. :)

Right now working on a thesis-like application that I have to turn up in less than a week. Yep, you heard that right. Thing goes like this: one of our crazy teachers decided it was an excellent idea to take a thesis from some other engineer and apply an experimental way of solving problems (each of us had to look for that specific "experimental" algorithm) to it to compare results. So far, so good. The problem is, he mentioned this only two weeks before end of semester, so I spent a week looking for the algorithm I was going to use, ending up with Bee Colony Optimization. Now I'm implementing the damn thing with only a few days to go. All would be fine and dandy if it weren't for the fact that I also have a LIFE and WORK to care about...
