* Loki walks to Emiko. *

Loki: I changed my mind, let me borrow that sword for a sec...

*Rune sighs and slaps her forehead. As much as she liked Tim singing this was was one song she did not want to hear add to the fact that Dave--er, Bruce started to sing it too.* I think I'll be getting a headache

Rune, whispering to Chichi: Is it wrong to kill someone when you're supposed to be an angel?

Chichi: Yes.

Rune: Bummer. *Rune watched Loki take the sword from Emiko.* I hope he doesn't actually kill them, just shut them up.

*Emiko gladly hands Loki the sword*

Emiko: Can I help too?

Loki: Sure thing!

* Loki turns to Dave and Tim. *

Loki: OK guys, heads up, angry god here. Stop singing or I'm a slashing some throats!

Tim: huh? Who's the wizard of odds? Is he a wise guy? Does he gamble a lot? Oooo, I bet he wins all the time, that's why he's the wizard. Sorry about the song, it just popped into my head. It really didn't fit the words right though. Um, Dave, what's over the rainbow? Have you been there? I tried to get to the end of a rainbow once. They say you'll find a pot of soup there. I really would have liked that. But then there are supposed to be these green guys that guard it, and they make you do some silly dance for it..... or something. Talking about it makes me hungry. *Tim takes one of the nice big rolls and starts to eat it.*

Faelyn, stares at Tim: Oh, lord, he's at it again. Is there any bottom to that boy's stomach?

*As the group approaches a gap, passing between tall cliffs on either side of the path, suddenly a huge apparition of a man appears between the cliffs. lightning flashes and smoke rolls as flames roar up around him. The group stops, startled.*

Apparition: Halt, I am the lord of this pass. none may enter here without first paying me tribute.*

*Tim, face a bit sticky, quickly swallows and answers the apparition.*

Tim: Oh, I.... I h...have some money...... i can pay.

Apparition: Yes, of course, but first, an honest man must answer my questions. If they are not answered by an honest man, you will never pass.

Tim: Let's see, who is an honest man...... Um, well Chin and Rune would be the most honest, but he said a man........... Um, I'm sort of honest.... but I'm just a boy yet, I guess...... Dave? Well, he told us he's Dave, then he said Bruce..... maybe he doesn't remember enough to be honest yet... Loki is the god of missed chief, not a good pick. Maurice! Ya, he told us he's evil, that was honest, and I don't remember him saying anything that wasn't honest........ He's the guy in the black cape. Hey Maurice, come talk to this guy.

Apparition: Alright Maurice, if you wish for any of you to live, you must answer my questions, truthfully. First, what is your true goal in life. Second, why must your group traverse my pass. Third,......... ah, where did you get that cape? I mean, I would really like one..... It would really make me look extra cool, I'll bet the chicks just go for that look.

*Bruce, head begins to throb*

Bruce: Look! I'm an actor, okay. I Came a place called earth. My name is Bruce, Dave was a character I was playing. While on the set, I bumped my head, I thought I was this character, named Dave. Okay...As far as gods and angel and all this other horse crap. I'm just as still lost okay. Look all i wanna do now is get home! RIGHT NOW!

*Bruce begins to pace*

*Emiko smirks*

Emiko: Why don't you try clicking your heels three times and saying "There's no place like home"?

*Emiko laughs at her joke and waits for Maurice to answer so they could pass*

*Bruce looks at Emiko*

Wait... You know...Are you from Earth? Can you help me?

*Emiko looks at the others*

Emiko: Did I say I was from Earth you guys? If I did I don't remember.

*Emiko grins evilly and shrugs off Bruce or Dave or whatever he said his name had been*
