I always liked fairies. Dinky and I use to be on a forum dedicated to fairies and such, but it closed down.
I am watching "Area 88" again. I really recommend it if you like military aircraft action. The art of the Vietnam and 70's era planes is very good. The action is fast, and there is a good story going on through it. The opening music is just great, I believe it's a Bach fuge, I just can't remember which one.

I recommend....
KODOCHA!!!
okay, seriously, I do recommend that series cuz it's hilarious, but the best anime out there is Escaflowne. The movie Escaflowne is also good, but I was slightly disappointed with it storywise. The music from the series and the movie is definitely some of the best in any anime I've yet seen. I know it's an old anime, but check it out if you haven't already done so!

Dittos on Escaflowne. I thought it was very brave of Fox network to try airing it uncut. Too bad they never finished it.
Both versions of Negima bear mention. They're each unique in their way.

Ok, here's one for N'Toonz, it won't make anyone's top 10 list, but it's a nice little western in anime style, and it has an old steam train. If you grew up on the old westerns like me, you might like this.
Early Reins: by Media Blasters, 4:3, stereo, Japanese and English, 45 min. probably a shojo catagory.
A neat little action western centered around six girls on a train. The train is attacked by a gang of bandits and the girls are left to defend the train themselves. There's miniskirted sheriff candidate, Margaret (only in anime), Helen the saloon singer, Janet the doctor, Caroline the tough little farm girl, Alice the rich girl, and Laura the outlaw. Will the girls find themselves at the mercy of the outlaw gang? The gang might learn not to mess with a woman.

While on mi hiatus I watched Gurren Lagann until it got licensed by ADV. Also, Pani Poni Dash! and Manabi Straight. All of them are higly recommended, specially Manabi Straight as a light-hearted gakuen show with an excellent animation. Also re-watching Noir and reading Hellsing the manga.
As gpa said, Area 88 is highly recommended, too. The planes are very detailed (but I missed Shin's Draken from the manga. Not that I have any arguments against the Tiger II, a mostly understimated aircraft that IMO could easily beat a F-16 or two in dogfighting).
Looking trhough my files I found the Great Teacher Onizuka Live Action Drama. I had so much watching this one and my favorite scene is the one with the cooked tuna head:
Poor, poor Onizuka...

I completely agree! Live action GTO is BIZARRE, but also extremely hilarious! I almost prefer it to the anime....GTO is definitely on the tall man's number one list, but I get so torked off at the students being mean to poor, sweet Onizuka!!
OOOH! Another anime hottie to add to the list!!!

I'm off to the fangirl fanclub!!!
