We also stopped at a Malaku people village. They did some traditional dances and plays for us. it was quite interesting. This is their community room where they put on the dances. They also sold some very interesting native artwork.

: I had to use my video cam for the pictures, it doesn't do very well with still shots, so I brightened and filtered this one.

: It was their dry season, and these huge trees were covered in yellow flowers.

I'm going to back up a bit, to the school kids. Jim had a few good picts of them dancing and sitting with us. I mostly took movies of them dancing.

: That's my wife on the left, and me with the video camera, showing my little buddy some of the video. That little girl stuck by me the whole time we were there, she was really cute.

I really don't know which Sakura is more addicted to, coffee or catnip. Heaven help us all if they ever come out with an actual Catnip coffee.
