I have a problem, fearless leader Sakura. When I click the link to the torrents page it says, error, you are not authorized to view torrents on this page. What am I doing wrong? If I try to log in, it says I have the wrong user name.

Exactly! (j/k)
Seriously now, though, if you're using Beryl, try switching to another window manager before playing the videos. At least in my case it messes with video playback (although I suspect that's because I really messed something in the X11 configuration from switching video cards so many times).

The MP4 video codec is partly patented by Microsoft and thus is not included in my setup. It's not a restriction by technology - it's a restriction by law.
About the torrents, I'd rather decided to fix the permission problem that hid the torrent list for guests. You should now be able to view the
list of torrents. This list contains only active torrents. To see all torrents you have to chose "All" from the drop down box titled "Status" and click the "Search" button.

Thank you sweetheart, you are our angel.

My high speed wireless at home kicked the bucket. I think the antenna died again, maybe I overload it. I'll be back to seeding when I can.
About MP-4, vlc player does play mp-4, and about anything else except Real player media. I don't know how they get around the licensing bit, but microsquash hasn't seemed to be interested in them. Download vlc player, it has a ubuntu version, and your good to go.

I just will not - I repeat: will not install proprietary, patented software on my box without having the explicit, written permission of the patent holder. Thus my box is 100% legal. I said it already it's not a technical problem it's a law. Now please end this discussion.

I added three more, just for fun. Two Ninjas, with Naruto clips, I think you'll like them, and ThisVideoSucks, such an inspirational piece, I'm sure it will change your outlook on life.
All open with WMP so you should be just fine.
