Oh, long post is long...

My day just keeps getting better and better
First, I had my phonetics/pronunciation test. It was really only to see what we (the students) needed to work on when speaking English, however, if someone gets a good grade, (s)he can decide to keep it and thus not having to do this at the end of the year :3
The highest one can really get was an 8 rather than a 10 because that's just how the teachers decided to do it, or something.
Soooo, it was my turn today. Of course I was going for a sufficient because that would mean I wouldn't have to do it again at the end of the year. The teacher started by asking questions (because I had nothing to talk about) and her last question was: "Do your parents have a background?" (she meant whether they were native speakers or somethign or another) and I was like: "Erm, no.". (Their English is kinda really bad speaking-wise DX) I thought it was a funny question really..
Anyway, then we went on with the reading bit which was really easy and then I was done. So the teacher said: "That was really good." I just stared at her XD. "That's why I asked you whether your parents were from England or something. You have this accent from England. It sounds a bit Irish."
Other people in my class already told me a sounded a bit Irish XD And I'm still like: "HOW'S THAT EVEN POSSIBLE? I ONLY STAYED THERE FOR A WEEK (and that was two years ago)" O___O
Anyway, she told me I had an 8 (and since I can't get any higher it naturally counted as a grade).
I was soooooooooo happy :3

Then I went to a friend's place (because she invited me over yesterday because she said she had a present for me). So I started ranting (which I always do when I'm with her XD) and then told her about me grade when, suddenly, she held these gloves in front of my face. I had wanted to buy those last time we went shopping, but decided then that they were too expensive and hadn't bought them. But now I got them from her!!
I was even happier then C:

Finally, I got home and then I got another present!!!

Today was already awesome (and we're even going to eat what I want :3) and it's not even over yet

It snowed in Minnesota yesterday. AND I'M NOT THERE! :gg:
It's in the 80's here... and we had an awesome thunderstorm yesterday. I'm still in shorts and a tanktop! I love the south....
