Yep, I'm in Georgia!
And I've already been told "ya'll gotta learn to talk properly down in these parts." Basically, this old guy was trying to get me to talk so he could understand it- I think. He says I've got to learn to say "ya'll" at the right times, and "over yonder", and know what people are talking about when I ask "Where's that at?" and they say "Behind dat!".
Kinda weird, because sometimes, I REALLY can't understand what people are saying to me! Like this cashier at the grocery store asked for my ID, and I just smiled at her and said "Yeah". She had to ask me for it 2 more times before I finally figured out what she was saying! And I only got it when she said "Naw, honey. I need your licsense. Ya'll aren't from around here, are ya?"
