Another night that the wife is still sick. I really hope she gets over this soon. I'm getting tired of cooking.

The wife still isn't over this flue bug, and now they say more snow for the next few days. Will winter ever end here? Where did our global warming go? I have to drive the wife to Okoboji Iowa on Friday, she has a couple lectures to give on Saturday.

My wife has a trip scheduled at the same time and I have to drive her to Lacrosse Wisconsin. I won't be able to make the con, and I already paid for the registration...... darn.

Youngest Daughter, crisis girl, just hit us with a good one. She had postponed her wedding plans for this December, indefinitely, because they didn't think they had their finances worked out. She just told us she has set a new wedding date. September 5........ this September....... one week. Obviously she planned this all in secret and has arranged things so no one has a chance to try to help arrange anything. Just a judge to marry them. Ah well, it's her life, she's old enough so good luck to them.

I married at age 16 to get out of "home" and I have regretted it ever since. I guess your daughter has less of that crisis so she's not really the "crisis girl"

If you knew her, you would know why I call her crisis girl. She's gone from one crisis to the next for years.
No, she's not trying to get out of the house, she's been going to college and living away summers for three years.

And this is the place to put it..... It's right by me. She really made this tough for the rest of us to come to the wedding, most of us have jobs and such. She didn't try to think about the rest of us.
