Random Boredom AGAIN!

When I first moved here, in 1976, the grain elevator blew up and burned to the ground. Biggest event I can think of in this town.

Couple days ago, a couple kids made some threats against the school here, now they are in juvenile detention. They may regret that later, they just messed up the rest of their lives.

When I was young, a gas station_garage, near my home blew up. Seems one mechanic had drained a gas tank and taken it off the care for repairs (open pan of gas on the floor, plus what he spilled) on the other side of the room, the other guy started welding a part, a rather loud boom, and all the windows were blown out of the place. Other than a bit of temporary deafness, no one was hurt, and just all the glass had to be replaced.

the last one is proboby because he didn't think about it and the others i can't imagen not regreting that.... why would you blow up an elevator?

The huge grain elevators, many were built of wood, catch fire or blow up when the dust from the grain they are moving gets ignited by some spark. It isn't all that uncommon in the plain states of the US. Seems every couple years there is one in the news.

I think thats the problem... people take life to serious... I know that was my problem.

Life is such a beautiful thing. Sometimes we just get so caught up in the moment of life, we forget who we are. Why we choose a certain path or why we wanted to be something. Why not have fun with life. A lot of the things people...parents put so much importances on, isn't even what really matters.

To be honest, school isn't for. School not for everyone. Being book smart isn't everything. It claims to get you the high paying jobs. but is that really important. Yes you need money to survive and live. But why be so unhappy. Thats why I am following my dream, pure simple childish dream. Cuz that is what will make me happy. Be happy! smile! and have fun and enjoy life. you only get one shot at it.

is the topic is like a debate on money vs love?? i think none of them will win, two loving people sticking to each other even during the very hard times of poverty, is just a movie scene.... i donno what im saying, and what im talking about, im just wandered to see that this thread lasted this long! i never posted in it did i?

Well, Sango-chan, we were talking about explosives in a locker (enough to blow up a whole city) and somehow.. ended up with this ^^ It's good to see you posting again ^^
