*Rina felt weird after the strange event,scanning through the schoold grounds to seek her friends,she finally spotted aki and kimara,smiling she approach them*

Rina:hey guys what did i mis-..AKI WHAT THE HELL!!

*Rina kneel down beside aki*

Rina:what happened in a few minutes that i was gone??

*Mike stood there, stunned, surveying the mess in the room, the racial slurs, the broken plants. He picked up a piece of pottery from one of the shelves. All of Kimara's beautiful flowers, ruined. It wasn't fair, she hadn't done anything to anyone. Who could have done this? .......... Mike looked down at the wreckage of the computer, maybe they could find out, if the hard drives still worked, the surveillance system might show who did this. Mike opened his cell phone and called his air force base, he asked for his friend in procurement.*

Mike: Lantz, I need your help again. I need to replace the computer you sent, I need another one just like it. This one's been trashed.

Lantz: Hey, good to hear from you, Mike. Um, what happened with the computer? Can you fix it?

Mike: No, there isn't much left........ just call it combat damage.

Lantz: Ok.... What's wrong Mike, you sound upset, are you having some trouble.

Mike Ya, someone wants a war....... they picked the wrong one to start one with.

Lantz: Ok, just take some time and settle down, big guy, it's just a computer, you don't need to kill someone over it.

Mike: Nobody's going to die, but they might just wish they did.

Lantz: I'll get you the computer, you just be careful, don't get yourself in trouble........ Anything else I can do for you?

Mike: Well, maybe..... You're kitsune, would you answer a question, a kind of personal question?

Lantz: You know I will, if I can, Mike.

Mike: What's a kitsune possession spell?

Lantz: Oh, that, it's more tradition than anything else. A kitsune male puts his mark on a female to show others she's taken. The spell bonds them. Usually the girl allows the boy to put the mark on when they first mate.

The piece of pottery, Mike was holding, crumbled as his hand tightened to a fist.

Mike: Can the girl remove the mark if she wants out.

Lantz: No, only the male that put the mark on can remove it, or maybe a powerful mage could, but it would be dangerous for her. No, she's stuck with him till he takes it off, or till he dies...... Mike, what's this about? THis isn't part of this computer trouble, is it? Don't lose your head over a girl, it'll just get you in trouble.

Mike: No, it's just something I needed to know. Just get the computer, I'll take care of my own problems....... Thanks Lantz, I owe you one.

*Mike hung up and stood staring at nothing. Was Aki that involved with Daiki? Or had she been? And what about now? Was Mike just being played with, or did AKi want out and Daiki wouldn't take off his mark. Mike had to talk to Aki..... but would she talk to him?*

Aki looked blankly at Rina: Few minutes? What do you mean? You're an hour late for school, you missed everything.

Kunikida smiled at Hideki: Nice of you to finally show up, you missed all the excitement. What happened, did you and Rina get..... Ah... lost on the way. *Laughs* You're lucky there was a bomb in school, or you'd have gotten a mark for missing first hour. *Hideki looked stunned*



*The reporter stopped outside the school gate, he listened in on the robed Kitsune who was talking on a cell phone.*

Kitsune: No sir, her father brought her to school, she wasn't with the boy....... I don't know what happened, they haven't been together at all............ I know how important it is, but what can I do? I can't just go tell her she has to seduce him or anything........ sorry sir, I was out of line, maybe they just had some disagreement........ I hope you don't have to resort to that.

*The reporter walked off. So, the kitsune were interested in keeping Mike and Aki together. If he was right, that kitsune was an acolyte of the elders, he would have been talking to one of them. Did they suspect Mike was from Asgard? Things might really be interesting. The reporter's cell phone rang. He answered it.*

Voice on the cell phone: Hello Akira, I just wanted to compliment you on your article in the paper. You are a good investigator, it was very informative.

Akira: Oh, well thanks. Glad you liked it.

Voice: I see you're gathering information for a follow up, unfortunately, it will never be printed. You will find that you are no longer employed by the newspaper, and neither will any other new agency accept your articles.

Akira: What?? What are you talking about? Do you mean I've been blackballed?

Voice: Yes, I have had you...... blackballed. You are involved with certain subjects that must be kept hidden.

Akira: No, wait.... You can't do that. You can't stop me from telling the truth. The public deserves the truth.

Voice: Mr. Akira, the public cannot handle the truth...... As for stopping you, I can, and have........ You are a good investigator, I don't wish to see your talents wasted. From now on, you are working for me. I expect you to continue in the line of your investigation. The terms of your employment have been sent to your e-mail, I'm sure you will find them satisfactory. Good bye Akira.

*Akira stared at his phone for long seconds. What the hell?? Blackballed...... then hired by some mystery man???? So, there was more to this than even he had imagined. Akira smiled, he'd always liked spy novels and mystery stories, now he was in one.*

*Mike went to his classes, still unsure what he could do to straighten things out. but he knew he had to talk to Aki, there were some questions he needed answers to. Mike hid his cell phone under the desk and sent a text to Aki. "I'll be on the roof at noon, we need to talk.".... But could she disobey her fathers orders?........ Would she???*

* At Kyo's downtown office, he was working at his desk when an associate stepped into his office."

Associate: Hey Kyo, I see your girls been abducted again, by aliens this time. *Laughs" You might have to keep her in a vault or something.

Kyo: What?? Where did you hear that?

Associate: It's in this article in the paper. That must have been some search going on. Missing for seven hours? And clocks on the plane show they were only out flying for a couple hours. Pretty convincing article. So, Did she see little grey guys with big eyes?

Kyo growled: Let me see that paper. Damn, that reporter that was there last night, if he tried to sensationalize this I'll have him........ * Kyo quickly read the article, it was good, he had to admit.* What's this about the clock, and the gps..... that kid could have tampered with them, but..... the timer was locked, how could he have changed that? But he must have.... or else??


*Kelly frowned at the orders she'd just received. All this crap falling in on her, and now she'd have to co-operate with some idiot investigator. Damn, just what she needed, some know it all to screw up her research. Well, he'd be here any time now.*

*Akira entered the lobby of the building, It was a big place. His e-mail said to come here and meet with the person who was in charge of security for the school, particularly for that group of kids. He had a strange feeling about this, he wondered if.... Akira gave his name at the reception desk, they had been waiting for him. The receptionist called for someone. Akira waited a couple minutes, then smiled as Kelly came through the door.*

Akira smiled, he was right: Well, this is a pleasant surprise, Kelly. It's been a while....... still singing Karaoke on Saturday nights?

*Kelly stopped short. What the heck? How did this guy know??? Kelly blinked, it couldn't be..... After all this time?*

Kelly: Akira??

*Rina felt ashame for not being with aki,she fell silent,they said goodbye to the second years and proceeded to their classroom.Rina insisted that aki goes to the infirmary and rest but she protested it*

RINA:Aki...is there something more troubling you?*dismiising the question aki went to sit in her place,10 minutes later a crush paper was thrown on her table, it wrote*

something odd is going on with mike his been ignoring aki the whole day even during the accidet,not only that but he seem angry at everyone.

Rina:what?!*Rina stood up abruptly sending her chair back,the class stared at her including the teacher she blink*
err...im not feeling well
*she ran out of the room*

*the second years sat quietly in their class,Mike kunikida and even hideki were in their own thoughts,till the sound of the door being slam open made them jump back to earth*

teacher:Miss Rina??is there a-
*Rina walk forward ignoring the teacher,she slam her hand hard on Mike's table*

Rina:We need to talk!!now!

*Taking Mike by his arm with unbelievable streght she drag him out of the classroom and into the clubroom*
RINA:Start explaining and please don't lie to me Mike...or i'll tell your mother!!

* Hideki and Kunikida watched as Rina stormed away with Mike. They looked at each other for a second then quickly got up to leave. *

Teacher: Where do you think you're going!?

Hideki & Kunikida: To the infirmary, I think I'm sick.

* The two of them ran off before the teacher could say anything else. A few moments later they were leaning on the wall of the clubroom, trying to hear what was going on inside. *

Hideki (whispering): Do you think--

Kunikida (whispering): Shh! Let me hear!

* Hideki and Kunikida where so concentrated trying to listen that they didn't notice Chisato (Hideki's sister) walking up to them. *

Chisato: Hideki.

* Hideki jumped at the mention of his name and turned around surprised. *

Hideki: Chisa-- *whispering* Chisato!? What are you--

Chisato: I need to talk with you. Is a... matter of life or death...

Rina:look Mike if you think im going to stand your behaviour especi..ally?
*her voice faltered as her eyes fell on the new comer,she back away,Mike look behind him to see what have caused Rina to become pale*

Rina:You!!!why...how??leave me alone!!!

*Hideki's mother grin at her*

Rina:Mike!!get her away from me....it's hideki's mum....get her away!!!

*she cried,as her body shivered,she hug herself,*

Dr h:Pathetic still afraid of me...or do you miss the time in the lab,Rina?

*she scream upon hearing a buzzing sound in her head,just like that time*

* Hideki heard Rina's scream and kicked open the door without thinking it twice. He scanned the room but he only saw Rina and Mike. He went next to Rina and tried to calm her down. *

Hideki: Shh, come on, it's okay. There's no one else here.

Rina:i don't want to go back!!!i-i do't want too!!!!

*DR H laugh*

Dr H:Do you believe in my son??how long will he be by your side...and what about the millitary guy??..Rina let me tell you a little secret *Rina shut her eyes and pressed her head agaist hideki's chest*

Rina:No i don't want to hear it!!!

*DR H lean foward near her ear*

DR H:LEVEL ZERO...

*imediately Rina's eyes widen and she push hideki away*

Hideki: Wha-- What's the problem, Rina?

* Kunikida and Chisato had walked into the clubroom and were watching everything from the entrance. Chisato looked down, looking depressed. *

Chisato: It seems like Rina hasn't really gotten over the ordeal back at the lab...

* Hideki looked at Chisato, then back at Rina, not knowing what to do. *
