*Sif laughed as she stood back away from Mike. She smiled down at the small girl. Sif was glad Aki and Mike had gotten together, she knew Aki was special.*

Sif: No, child, we aren't gods, though sometimes I wish we were. The Aesir are just a very old race, with some magic skills more developed than those of mankind. I suppose that might have made us look like gods when we were on Midgard..... your earth, during the last war. *Sif looked at Mike.* That's why I brought you here, to warn you about the war that has started. Thor started a war with Loki and the giants over your kidnapping. I'm sure that it will bring their fight to Midgard again. Last time it almost destroyed mankind, the scattered remnants of mankind barely survived, that is when the division of the races began. When the scattered groups began to exhibit the characteristics of the various races. I still think that was more of Loki's meddling. Micheal, you and your friend with the armor are the only ones on Midgard who could hope to stand up to the giants. If mankind is to survive when the war comes to Midguard, they will have to learn to work together. The strength and resilience of the demons, the war machines of the humans, and the cunning and magic of the kitsune and elves, working together, will all be needed to defend mankind. Your group of friends is a start, you will have to bring mankind together.

Mike: That's crazy, there's no way, they're almost at the point of a race war now. How could our group of kids convince them to work together. We'd never have time, it would take years.

Sif: There may be time enough. Time passes more slowly here than on Midgard. It may be a century, there, before the war reaches mankind. I hope it takes that long, because it's their only hope, that your group can lead to harmony among mankind's races. *Sif looked down at Aki.* You will have a place in this, your elders think they can use you, to make your race the rulers........ but really, to further their own ambitions. *Sif smiled at Aki's surprised look.* Yes child, the elders have followed the bloodlines since before the breakup of mankind. They know you are important, Princess Aki, they just don't know how important you might actually be. *Sif took a necklace from her neck and stepped forward, placing around Aki's neck.* Don't look so surprised Princess, they've waited centuries for you to appear. Now they have found you, they think they can control you. I've had this made for you, you may find it helpful someday.

*Aki looked at the necklace, still feeling a bit stunned. It had a cord of gold fibers, so fine it felt like silk, and the pendant was a large, oval, blue white diamond. Impossibly, inside the diamond, sculpted of pure yellow gold, was an exact copy of the amulet Mike wore. Aki looked at Sif, wanting to say something, but she didn't know what to say.*

Sif looked at the two: You and your friends will be faced with many challenges, and important decisions. Chose wisely children, for your generation can either save your world, or destroy it............ Now I must send you back, the protection I put on Aki against the radiation from our sky will soon wear off. *Sif hugged Mike.* Live well, son, perhaps we will be together again after this war is over. Now get into your machine, and I will send you back, hurry now.

*Mike helped Aki into the plane. There was so much more he wanted to ask, so much he wanted to know, but he had to get Aki away. He hadn't thought about the radiation from so many stars, so close. He knew it couldn't hurt him, now he knew why, but it would be very bad for Aki. As soon as he was in the plane, the whole universe seemed to melt together, then separate again. Once more the plane was flying.*

*Mike froze for a moment, this wasn't right, it was a dark night sky......... but the three quarter moon, and the distant stars, it was earth's sky. But where were they? They were only gone a few minutes, it couldn't be night at home..... The GPS acquired the satellites and showed the map, they were almost exactly at the point they had left. Mike banked the plane toward the airfield and pushed the throttle up on the motor, his mother had said time passed more slowly in Asgard, that must be what happened.*

Mike: Aki, I think more time passed than it seemed should have. I hope we don't get in trouble with your parents, it's got to be past seven oclock........... Aki........ I wanted something.....I just wanted this to be a special time... I mean we were alone and, well, I thought we could, um, I just wanted to...... I didn't think someone could......... Damn, whenever I try to say something, the words just don't come out right.

*Mike felt Aki's warm hand on his cheek, as she turned his face toward hers. She knew Mike had trouble finding the words, it was one of the endearing things about the big guy, but she always knew what he meant. And she wanted exactly what Mike did. As Mike turned, he found himself inches from Aki's deep crimson eyes. Mike leaned toward her, this time, as their lips touched, there was no one to stop them. Mike ignored the sound of voices coming from the headphones hanging behind him as Aki's hand wrapped around behind his head and their kiss became more passionate. Mike's arm wrapped around the small girl, holding her as close as the seats allowed. If this was the "Mile High Club" he never wanted to come down.

*After long moments, the excited teenagers broke their kiss as the chatter from the headphones was joined by the roar of a navy search and rescue helicopter off their left wing. Mike put on the headset and answered the call.*

Navy pilot: Are you alright, can you make it back to the airfield?

Mike: It's not a problem, we have around seventy five percent left in the batteries.

Pilot: Ok, that's good......... ah, how the heck did you do that? Where have you been for the last seven hours, did you find a place to land around here or something?

*Mike sat stunned, thinking. Seven hours, how could it be that long. That would make it past midnight........ Crap, they were sure to be in trouble now.*

Navy co-pilot: He's got is girl along..... *laughs* what do you think?

Mike: Um, no sir..... not around here.

Pilot, laughing: Well, I hope you kids have a good story when you land, your gonna need one.

Mike: You wouldn't believe me if I told you.......... Aki, it's a lot later than we thought........ I just hope your parents aren't to angry.

*A night landing was no problem, Mike had plenty of experience, and his night vision was as good as a kitsune or neko's. As they touched lightly on the runway, they could see a number of cars around the hanger. Mike pulled the plane to the hanger and got out, AKi opened her door and got out as Mike came around the plane. Ai rushed out of the group of people at he hanger and wrapped her daughter in a tight hug. Kyo rushed from the group and started yelling up at the tall boy.*

Kyo: Where were you? What were you doing with my daughter? Did you touch her?

Mike, backing up: Well, yes..... I did, I mean, we held hands and...........

Kyo, yelling: You'll never see her again. You stay away from her. I'll kill you if.... *Whack, Kyo was almost knocked over when Ai smacked him on his head.*

Ai: That's enough of your ridiculous threats. You haven't even given them a chance to explain..... *Ai dragged Kyo away.* Now come along, we'll take Aki home, I'm sure she has a good explanation.

Aki looked back at Mike as she followed her parents: What do tell them?

Mike: The truth, Aki, tell them just what happened. I hope they believe you Aki, it just seems to fantastic to believe....... but maybe the necklace my mom gave you will help.

Kelly, frowning at Mike: Alright Mike, what is the truth, where were you for seven hours.

*As Aki and her parents left, Mike looked at the group of people, what should he say. There was one guy taking pictures, and another writing in a pad, they must be reporters. He couldn't tell them they'd been to Asgard, but he didn't want to tell a lie to them.*

Mike: We were, ah, we were abducted by an alien. We were only gone a few minutes....... really.

*The reporter started laughing as Kelly's frown darkened. Kelly saw the reported start toward Mike, she stepped in between them.*

Kelly: Oh really? That's enough, you're coming with me Mike.... Right now! *Kelly started for the car.*

*Kyo's frown was very intimidating. And that was just from the reflection of the mirror in the dim car. Aki bit her lip as the silence lengthened.*

KYO: YOUR EXPLANATION, AKI!

*Aki jumped at the booming voice of her father. Her heart was racing with surprise. A 'thwack' sounded inside the car. Ai had hit her husband again. Ai glowered at Kyo.*

Ai: Your temper. Control it. *Ai turned in her seat to face Aki.* What is your explanation, daughter?

Aki: Well...would you believe it if I told you we sort of went to Asgard?

*Tense silence reigned. Kyo snorted.*

Kyo: You had given much better excuses before kit, tell us the truth.

Aki, offended: That was the truth! I know it's hard to believe but it's what happened!

*Ai studied Aki's face. There were no tell-tale signs of her daughter lying but...Asgard? It was too far-fetched.*

Ai: Do you mean the place where Aesir gods reside, Aki? The one in the old Kitsune books?

Aki, nodding: That's exactly it.

Kyo: Preposterous. That's just some nonsense, kit. The Aesir gods are not real and if they are they would be already dead.

Ai: Though I disagree with your father about the Aesir gods not existing, because they do. *Another 'thwack' to Kyo's head. Kyo glared at his wife.*

Kyo: What the he--

Ai, ignoring Kyo: Aesir gods existed, Aki. But they died a long time ago. There aren't anymore proof left that they are alive.

Kyo, muttering low: There aren't even any proof that they existed.

Aki: But they do exist, until now, they're still alive! And that's were we went! I met Mike's mother and--I...*Aki stopped, a little horrified. Mike did say to tell the truth but how much of it? Was this information still within her rights to dispatch?*

Ai: Michael-kun's mother...

Kyo: That big guy's mother...

Ai and Kyo: In Asgard?!

*Aki nodded. Kyo did a turn and they arrived at their house. Swiftly parking in the garage, Kyo exited out first opened Aki's door and ordered her out. The trio entered the house and headed straight for the living room. Aki was told to sit on the couch. She obeyed. Kyo was looking incredulous while Ai looked perturbed.*

Kyo: Aki...your story-telling is amusing but very unbelievable.

Ai: Kyo...

Aki: So what would you want me to say? Would you rather I lie and say that Mike and me did something?!

Kyo: WHAT!!! What did he do to you?

Aki, standing up and shouting: NOTHING! Nothing happened! I'm telling you the truth! We were just flying when suddenly we were in Asgard! *Aki stood on her tiptoes and met her father eye to eye. Both of them were glowering at each other and shouting.*

Ai: Both of you, shut up! *Aki and Kyo both looked at Ai. Ai was scowling, her hands on her hips and one eyebrow raised.* You both are acting like children with all the shouting! I want to hear Aki's explanation Kyo, so you will let her talk and you will not interrupt, understand? *Kyo nodded. Ai turned to Aki.* I want to hear everything and only the truth, understand? *Aki nodded. Ai nodded indicating Aki to start.*

Aki: Well we went flying like I told you and everything was alright and we were...um-- ahhh. *Aki glanced at her father then her mother. Could she tell them that Mike was about to kiss her? She bit her lip and threw her mother a look. Ai's eyes widened a bit before she nodded. Aki thought she saw a small smile but it was gone before she could make sure.* We were flying, see, then the plane felt like it was being shaken. Then we were somewhere real bright. Mike was a little dazed but he snapped out of it. Then there was a woman walking towards us. She was tall, even taller than you Mama, with long golden hair and she was wearing long flowing cloths, like robes wrapped around her. But when I saw her face--her eyes, Mama,I knew it was her. I listened to the stories enough to know it was her.

Ai: Who?

Aki: The Goddess Sif. Thor's wife.

Ai: You saw her? You really met an Aesir Goddess?

Aki, nodding: Yes, and that's not all. You know Tyr in the legends?

Kyo: Thor and Sif's son?

Aki: Yes...

Kyo: What about him? You met him too? *Kyo still was unbelieving about the tale. He was never much to listen to legends about Gods and Goddesses.*

Aki: Well yes, sort of. But not in Asgard.

Kyo: You went somewhere else?! Where the hell did that bas--guy take you?

Aki: N-no, I...I didn't go anywhere else...you've met him to. *Aki peeked through her lashes at her parents. She wondered if they'd think she was crazed. Or maybe they'd just think she was lying. Aki frowned at that.*

Ai: Aki, we haven't. Until now there haven't been any proof that the Aesir gods exist so we couldn't have--oh! You can't mean that Aki! It's not possible!

Kyo: What? What did Aki mean? *Both mother and daughter were ignoring him while they had their silent conversation. Finally after a while Kyo threw his massive arms up, exasperated.* I don't understand a damn thing that's going on!Both of you are just looking at each other without saying anything!

*Ai gave Kyo a reprimanding look.*

Ai: Language, husband or I'll wash your mouth with soap. *Kyo grumbled. Ai sighed.* If you were listening to your daughter earlier instead of shouting you would have realized what she said.

Kyo, muttering: I was listening...both of you just didn't make any sense. Asgard and all that gods and goddesses stuff...bah!

Ai: She meant that we've met Tyr.

Kyo: I haven't met any god...

Ai: We have. He has his mother's coloring. Blond hair, blue eyes and fair skin. And his father's built and strength. He's big and tall and very strong. Kyo, think.

Kyo: As I said I haven't met any gods...besides the only one that fits that description is that big guy Aki--no!*Eyes wide, Kyo shook his head, his gaze going to his wife then daughter then back again.Absolute disbelief and denial evident in his expression.* No, no, no! You can't be thinking that he's a god! That he's Thor's son! that is not possible! The guy is stronger than your average human I'll give you that but he cannot be a god! This isn't some cartoon show, wife...

Ai: But what if it's true Kyo? What if he's the son of Thor and Sif? He's unnaturally strong and his hair...I swear it glitters under the sun.

Kyo: Don't go poetic on me Ai.

*Aki stifled a giggle as her mother described Mike to her father. Kyo's frown never let up. Aki wondered if it was because the story was hard to swallow or if he was jealous that her mother described Mike in such glorious detail.*

Kyo: I still can't believe that.

Ai: Oh, Kyo...why don't you try to have an open-mind about this? It's in our history. In those old books.

Kyo: Those old books could just be a flight of fancy besides I'm a warrior Ai, I wasn't educated in that field. It wasn't all that important for us to know about gods and goddesses.

Aki: But Papa, can we just say hypothetically what if you believed what I said was true? I wasn't lying to you or Mama. What I said did happen, I can't force you to believe but I can't make up something you'd believe.

*A few more arguments and failed persuasions happened before Ai sighed stopping the family meeting.*

Ai: Enough. It's late and Aki still has school tomorrow. Kyo, you can't tell Aki to lie just so you'd believe her explanation.

Kyo: So you believe that nonsense?

Aki: It's not nonsense!

Ai: I don't. *Ai threw and apologetic smile to Aki.* Not until I have proof. But I'm keeping an open-mind and that means I will not rule out the possibility that Aki's story is the absolute truth. Now everyone will go to bed and we'll talk about this tomorrow.

Aki, sullenly: Fine.

Kyo, sullenly: Fine...but you are grounded. *Kyo waited for Aki to react. Aki pressed her lips together and her jaw hardened. She gazed coolly at her father.* You'll come home directly after school, understand. Until we've sorted this out, you will continue to be grounded, understand?

*Aki gave a curt nod before leaving and heading upstairs. Once she reached the last step she let the tears fall. She would never deliberately lie to her parents and it hurt that her father didn't believe her. She bit her lower lip so she wouldn't make a sound, even the softest of sobs could alert her parents to her state. She brushed her teeth, changed into her pajamas and crawled in her bed. Weary, sleep took her in seconds. A slight glow appeared, under her pajama top Aki had forgotten about the necklace Sif had given her, for all its large size it was unbelievably light, so light it felt like she wasn't wearing anything. Which was probably why she had forgotten that it was with her or that she could have used that necklace for proof.*

((i just checked, Tyr isn't supposedly Thor and Sif's son but Thor's younger brother. More of Odin's son with Frigg. Unless you intended it that way, we could just edit the next time.))

((Well, you caught that one Yuki. Thought you might. But Sif didn't finish the name, Tyr......., She was going to say Tyrell, she named her boy after his Uncle, the Germanic god of war. I thought this could be fitting since Tyr is a god of war, and also connected with the sky, (Mike's a pilot) and the Norse people considered Thor, god of thunder, also a god of war.))

*The reporter shook his head, another dead end. Kids, they would come up with some crazy story like that. But then...... why was the military rescue involved, this should just have been a civilian matter. And that Military woman, he'd overheard her telling the parents that the plane just vanished off radar. To many strange happenings, especially involving someone of the Ayashi family. The reporter helped Eisaku push the plane into the hanger, maybe he could find out a bit more from him.*

Reporter: That was an awfully nice night landing for a high school boy. I would have thought it was his first night landing, but he looked like he's had experience at it.

Eisaku, working inside the cockpit: I wouldn't have expected anything less, I'm sure the air force had him do plenty of night landings. Oh crap, this guys that reporter....... I shouldn't have said that.

Reporter: Ah, this is interesting....... military. Oh, air force? I didn't think he'd be old enough for that.

Eisaku: Ah, well....... I think he's one of those Americans, probably went to some military academy or something..... he's got plenty of flying experience though.

Reporter: Hmmm, nice recovery....... Tanaka, American?.... Well, maybe, he sure doesn't look Japanese. There's something more though, what is it you're not telling me? You're probably right, maybe that's why the military was involved. ok, that got some reaction, so there is more. Wonder what those kids were doing all that time, *laughs* just like kids to come up with that "abducted by aliens" story.

Eisaku, looking at figures he wrote on a pad: Strange........ maybe it was the truth.

Reporter, looking over Eisaku's shoulder: Oh, what do you mean by that?

Eisaku: The clock on the GPS unit, it's about seven hours late.

Reporter: Heck, they probably set it back just to cover themselves.

Eisaku: I guess they could, but..... I set the elapsed time meter before they left, it's how I keep record of peoples rental time, and it shows a little less than two hours.......... they couldn't reset that, not from inside the plane....... and not without the key.

Reporter: You're sure?....... Damn, maybe there is more to their story....... thanks. So, there is something going on. I'll have to talk to those kids. I thought that military babe was in a hurry to get that boy away. Well, the school uniforms were from that new school, been a bunch of strange things happening around that school. Maybe this will be my break. We've got some good pictures, now to come up with a good line to go with them.

*In the car, Kelly turned to face Mike as Samuel drove.*

Kelly: Alright, I don't know how you made that plane disappear off the radar, or where you went for seven hours and I want answers, now. And none of that alien abduction BS. Now tell me the truth.

Mike sighs: But it is true Kelly, really, I mean, my mom is an alien, I guess.

Kelly: Your mom? What do you mean?

Mike: It was my mom, at least she said she was......... and, well, she kind of looked like me. She took us to Asgard, but we were only there a few minutes...... um, she said something about the time moving more slowly there. *Mike's mind started to wander into the scientific knowledge he'd grown up with.* Asgard must be closer to the galactic core, probably very close, nearer the singularity at the core. That could explain the time distortion.

Kelly: Wait a minute..... you were to Asgard...... home of the gods? You think I should believe that? Oh crap, you mean he really Thor's son. But what are the Aesir? Could they really be gods....... or what?

Mike: All I can tell you is what really happened. You have to decide if you believe. Does Kelly think my mom is some kind of god too? Hmm, maybe I won't tell her what mom said about that, not now, it could get interesting.

*Mike told Kelly about their flight, minus a few details, and about their time at Asgard. He described the place, and his mother, and some of their conversation. There were details about Aki and himself he kept to himself.*

Mike: The main reason my mom brought us there, was to give us a warning to bring back to Midgard..... Earth. There is a war coming our way. A war between the Aesir and the Frost Giants. A war like the one that almost destroyed mankind a long time ago. Kelly, I don't know a lot about this, I never learned about the gods, and Asgard, but I know this war would make a race war look like children playing. Right now, only Hideki with his armor and I could hope to stand against a Frost Giant. If mankind can't learn to work together, all the races, this world will be destroyed.

Kelly: Damn, your kidding, right? There's no away the races will work together. It would take years to convince them.

Mike: We may have years, because of the time difference, and there is a chance, look at our club, there are a bunch of different races getting along, and working together........ Right now, we need the best innovations the humans can make in defensive equipment..... and the spartans may be your best chance to match the giants strength. We'll have to trust our club to find some way to get the races to co-operate. I just hope Rina and Aki can help make it happen. That is, if Aki can convince her parents that we were to Asgard.

*The car stopped at Mike's apartment.*

Kelly: Don't feel so sure you've convinced me. Now get some sleep, you still have to run in the morning. *The car pulled away.* What the hell am I thinking? What if he is...... no that's just crazy....... but then...... damn, why me?

*That morning..... Kelly sat at her desk, tired, grouchy and irritable. It was a bad time of the month, and she hadn't slept much at all. But maybe she shouldn't have taken it out on the boys. She'd added extra weight to their loads, and made Samuel run with them, he was faster than she was. The boys had done it..... damn they were strong, but she could tell they were burned out. They didn't really deserve it, they'd just joked around a bit yesterday, and she was out of shape. Damn, she was tired.*

*Mike hadn't slept either, but he didn't need much sleep. He was to busy thinking. His mother! Yes, he knew she was, from the moment she looked at him. And now he knew who he was, what he was........ but this "gods" thing Aki asked about. Mike hadn't read or learned the old myths and legends. He knew he had to study them now. And Aki...... a princess? Really?? Mike liked to call her his princess, but his mother said the elders knew her bloodlines. Somehow he had to find out. He could ask Kyo and Ai, but they were upset with him, he would have to ask someone else, maybe he had to find the kitsune elders.*

*Mike arrived early at Aki's home, ready to escort her to school. Instead, he found Kyo out in front, with his car.*

Kyo: What are you doing here? I told you to stay away from Aki.

Mike: There is still a threat from the Tsuchimi family, I still need to escort Aki to school.

Kyo, voice rising: I'll take her, you stay away from her. I won't give you the chance to do anything more to her!!

Mike: Didn't you listen to her, we didn't do anything wrong, We had no choice in the matter.

Kyo, shouting: Don't lie to me boy...... you took her somewhere for seven hours. I won't let you ruin my daughter!! I'll tear you apart first. Get out of here or I'll kill you!!!

*Ai heard Kyo shouting and looked outside. Kyo was face to face, shouting up at the tall boy. She could see Kyo had his claws barred and was ready to fight. Micheal, had a hard and angry look, she could see his fists clenched hard at his sides. ..... If Micheal had the temper of his father, Thor....... she feared for Kyo's life. Ai hurried to the door.*

Mike: Doesn't he believe me? Doesn't he even believe his own daughter? What can I do? I wish I could pound some sense into him..... but I can't do that, he's Aki's father. What could I do to prove where we went. Damn, I can't do anything. I thought you would at least believe the truth from your own daughter.

*Ai came out the door in time to hear Mike's last words. She watched the boy turn and walk quickly away.*

*Ai wanted to whack some sense into her husband but a chilling aura behind her made her stop. She turned around and so her daughter standing at the doorway. Her eyes were a dull grey, almost black and lifeless. Her lips were pinched into a tight line and her stance was rigid. Even her clothes were subdued. There was a cold feel to her daughter this morning. Had she heard the exchange between her father and Mike? Did she know that her father was just being overprotective again?*

Ai: Good morning Aki...

*Aki gave a curt nod and a little murmur of "morning" before she stalked lifelessly to the car. Ai watched Kyo open his mouth before closing it, his features were also pinched but more of upset than lifeless. Aki sat in the backseat and was turned away from Kyo not even bothering to greet her father.*

*The drive to school was silent. Tension was thick inside the car but neither father nor daughter felt the urge to talk. When Kyo pulled in front of the gate, Aki hurriedly opened the door but stopped when Kyo spoke.*

Kyo: Your mother will pick you up this afternoon, I want you home by then. Also I don't want you associating with the boy, understand?

*Aki stiffened then bit her lip before giving her father a blank look.*

Aki: How will you know if I was associating with Mike or not? This is school after all.

Kyo: I will trust you.

*A bitter feeling came over Aki so she gave a short laugh. It was sharp and harsh and Kyo winced. Aki gave him a smile with all teeth and no humor or warmth.*

Aki: Like you trusted me last night?

*Without giving Kyo an answer Aki close the door softly and walked passed the gate. Kyo sighed as he watched his daughter. She had never been like that before. So withdrawn and cynical.*

Kyo, murmuring to himself: What happened, Aki? You've changed...are you still my little girl or am I not the number one man in you heart anymore? *Feeling that he was being too sentimental Kyo shook his head before putting on his business facade and driving to work.*

*Ai walked back into the house, she was frightened...... frightened by the look she had seen on AKi's face. If she didn't do something, Aki would turn against them. Aki wasn't a baby anymore, if Kyo treated her like one, she would rebel...... And she was frightened by shat she saw in Mike's eyes. She feared for their lives. What was the limit of a god's patience? If Kyo pushed Mike to far, what would happen to them?*

*Mike ran to the school, but still he couldn't shake his anger. He saw Kunikida and Selene by the clubhouse....... no, he wouldn't go there. Aki would probably go there, and he couldn't see her. Mike went to a side door, he saw Ayashi's car pull up just as he went in. Mike sat on the stairway steps, his anger almost visible around him. Kyo had called him a liar....... and Mike didn't like it. And by not believing Aki, implied she was a liar too. Mike clenched his fist, he had always tried to be honest....... and now to be called a liar. Mike had been so close to a fight with Kyo, Mike's amulet glowed as he looked down at his fist..... just what kind of proof did Kyo think he could get from Mike? Maybe Mike needed to convince Kyo to believe them.*

*Kelly's cell phone rang and she answered it.......... It was him.... The voice. She only knew him as, the voice, he had only called her a few times, but she knew that when he did...... things happened.*

Voice: I see you had an interesting night, Kelly. Have you seen the morning paper?

Kelly: No, I haven't read the paper yet. *Kelly unfolded the paper on her desk.* Oh crap!

Voice: Please read the article, Kelly.

*On the front page was a picture of Ai, hugging Aki, with Mike standing next to them and the airplane in the background. the headline read, "High School aviators abducted by aliens." The article told of the unexplained disappearance of the aircraft, the seven hour search by the military, and the sudden reappearance of the plane. It told of Mike's statement that they were abducted by aliens, and that they were only gone a few minutes. The reporter said that a woman from the military had rushed the students off before the reporter could interview them. But Kelly was shocked when she read that there was another anomaly..... the clock and the flight timer.*

Voice: Now, Kelly, I want you to tell me all you know about what happened, and anything Micheal might have told you.

*The reporter was waiting outside the school. He hoped to catch the young couple on their way and interview them. He saw Mike, coming alone, and decided maybe he'd try to talk to him later. The tall boy looked a bit angry...... quite a bit, and the Ayashi girl wasn't with him. What did the military people do with him?......... Ah, Ayashi-san's car pulled up and the girl got out, perhaps he could get some answers anyway. He waited for the car to leave, then approached Aki.*

Reporter: Miss Ayashi, good morning...... I'm a reporter for the daily journal, I was there when your airplane returned last night. I'd like to ask you a few questions, if I could, please. Whoa.... maybe this isn't such a good time. What the heck did they do to these kids? She looks pretty upset too...... Um, look, I believe you, I know you were only gone a few minutes, I saw the proof...... I'd like to hear what happened.

*Selene had a bad feeling about today. She'd had it ever since she'd gotten up. She tried to shake it off, it was such a nice day. The sun was shining, and Kunikida had walked her to school, he was so nice, and she had new friends. Just as they got to the clubroom, the first hint of trouble showed up. Selene saw Mike there, but he wasn't with Aki. She tried to wave to him, but he just walked off, and he looked upset. Selene started to mention it to Kunikida when the second ominous event occurred. The clubroom door slammed open and Daiki burst out of the room. His claws were out and there was fire in his eyes, he turned and slammed his fist into the wall.*

Kunikida: Whoa..... hey, buddy, what's wrong?

Daiki: Go and look for yourself.

*Selene rushed into the room, she found Kimara sitting in the middle of the floor, crying. All of Kimara's beautiful flowers and plants were smashed on the floor. Selene knelt down and wrapped her arms around the small dog girl. Kunikida stood behind Selene, stunned, the room was a mess, the books and papers were scattered around, the computer was smashed. Kunikida looked around the walls, they were spray painted full of racial slurs, against elves, kitsune, necko, human........ in fact, all the races............ Hmmm, almost all.*

Kunikida: Damn, who could have done this?

Selene rocked Kimara: We'll fix it Kimara. We'll clean it all up and make it better than ever.

*Mike tried to control his temper, it wouldn't do to try to go to classes like this....... But it wasn't fair, they hadn't done anything wrong, they'd had permission to go flying, they had no control over extra the time they were gone........ if it had been because of some mechanical problem with the airplane, they would have been gladly welcomed back..... But now, they were treated as liars and worse, just for telling the truth. They hadn't done anything..... just one kiss, was that so bad?*

Voice: Hmm, so they're returning at last. I'm afraid you and the other spartans have become much more important to us, Kelly. Get some rest, you'll have a couple of days leave.......... Thank you, Kelly.

*Things can't get any worse........ or can they?*
