Crap, I know I said I would be on the chat tonight, but it might not happen, family crisis. Daughter #3, my youngest, (it's always a crisis with her), wants to get married in June. Now getting married isn't all bad, but there are a few issues to deal with that they might not be ready for. Yes, they are old enough (she just turned 21) but they both are looking at two more years of college, and you people might understand the financial problems that would cause. It's tough enough being a young married couple trying to make it on your own. (I know, I did it once too) But to have two years of college to finish, and try to make it, could be very hard. And "two can live as cheep as one" isn't really true.

The next problem, mom doesn't really approve of the boy. And says there is no way you can plan a wedding in six months. I can't say a whole lot there. We have seen so little of him that we don't know him very well. He seemed nice enough to me when I talked with him, kind of shy though. He's been drifting, not really going to college, not really working at a career, I think he just hasn't figured out where he's going yet. Hope he gets it straight soon. That could be another problem to a young married couple. You do need to know what you can rely on.

That said, crap, I have to get to work. I've been doing this for over forty years, and I'm sick of it! Ok, I stole that line from a comedy skit I have. But I have been at this over forty years. I'll see you tonight if I can get some time.

three letters: GRE :omg:
......it's a nightmare, and I'm not even taking the stupid test. That said, how'd "THE TALK" go, Oldwrench? Hope the two of them behaved better than they normally do around each other... :swt:

Just some claw marks, a few bruises and scrapes, but I'll survive. I really don't think a June wedding is going to happen. Not enough lead time, and her mom has way to much happening next spring. But still, crisis girl insists they have to get married in June. Why? Because she wants to, Sam doesn't say much.

#*$&^#@(*$(@&#!$*&)!#@$(*)$. I'm having some wiring changed in the house while I'm remodeling the basement bathroom. I screwed up and told the guys the wrong wire to cut off, that one cuts off all the electric to the kitchen. I came home lst night and the fridge had no power, the stove and microwave didn't work, ect. Now I have to have them pull in a new wire to replace the cut one. I should look closer before I do things.
