Looks good so far, but wouldn't it be easier if you vectorized the image first? (not that i know how, though)

It would, but I have always been a fan of the "pencil drawing" style. So in order to keep that feel I did not vectorize the image. I may do that after I finish just to see what it would look like.

The hair and skin are all done. Now to start work on the dress.

No shading..? *shot*
