Did you ever see a cat working on a field?

On the good side, I finally managed to expand the background image to 5k resolution on CSS3 machines. Which is after the death of XP all of them.

XP? That's kind of prehistoric, isn't it?

I bought a 500gb ssd drive for my new system drive, I had only put a 64gb ssd in when I built it. and I wanted it for an upgrade to Widows 10, I cloned my W7 system onto the new drive and all was set to upgrade to W10........... more on that in the bad things thread.

Spent the last two days at the Pioneer Power Show. It's a rather large gathering of antique farm power equipment and heavy construction machinery. I have a few pictures of the show. Today two of my grandsons were there with me. # year old Ryker was in tractor heaven. He was incredibly excited. It was a lot of fun.

Windows 10 actually works quite nicely......... after I finally got it to work. I had to do a clean install of my W7 then get the 200+ updates for that os, then it would finally update to W10. Now all I have to do is find and reinstall all the apps I have been using for the last few years. the ones I have reinstalled work quite well. It hasn't crashed or hung up yet. Windows 7 had a nasty habit of locking up and the only thing I could do was reboot it.

Oh, by the way, I found out the install of W7 that installed on the wrong drive didn't erase what was on the drive, it just set up a small partition and installed the os in that partition. All the things I had stored on that drive are still there.

I reverted my old windows computer to W7. Even a clean reinstall doesn't work smoothly on my 2 year old box. I don't care - the Windows box is usually turned off anyways while I'm working on my iMac.
By the way - Windows, I have to update your story which I last did.... about 2 years ago? :shy:

I bought two 3tb hard drives for $145, installed them in my computer and copied all my AMVs from the 5tb external drive to them. Now I'm not quite so worried that the drive might fail and I lose it all. Now I can try to watch all 99,500+ AMVs. It also works much better from internal drives......... It took more than 10 hours to copy the 4tb of video files.

I remember when they came out with the news of the first Terabyte server on the internet, an amazing machine with dozens of hard drives........... Now I have over 7tb in my desktop box and another 10tb of external drives laying around. Unbelievable.

Still working for minimum wage but I have 18 Terabytes live and 11 TB backup hard disks at home. Just the old anime I already had 10 years ago though.

I'm back! I have picts from Japan and will get them onto my computer so I can post some of them.
Anime is all over the place in Japan..... Hello Kitty, Pokemon and One Piece are everywhere.I did get to visit the international Manga museum in Kyoto. It was very interesting. Manga is the segment of printed media in Japan, almost double the numbers of it's closest competitor. I also got to finish a couple anime series during travel time. I'll let you know about them later. Spent some time thinking about the 5 min story so I have to get back to it again soon. Right now, I have to get over the jet lag.
