I remember Android having a rights management system with a high granularity so programmers usually just tick the "all rights" checkbox when deploying their tools.

On iOS it uses the movement sensors, GPS, internet access and requests permission to show information on your log-on screen. That sounds purretty much necessary to me... anyways with Withings and Apple Health all your information is "clouded" anyways, namely to allow integration of other apps like "MyFitnessPal" which allows you to add your nutritions and keep a food line, or "Runkeeper" to record your workouts.

ordered the right parts for a computer build, but the description on the web site was wrong, the MB doesn't have an internal usb3 header. Bummer, now I have to send it back and buy a more expensive board.

Have you tried one of these handy USB3->USB2 adapters for $2.50?

Why would I want an adapter. That would defeat the purpose of usb3, I would only have usb2 speed....... beside..... Why an adapter, usb3 hardware will plug in to usb2 and run at usb2 speed.

Who cares, I only have USB2 memory sticks. The hard disks are plugged into the back where they belong. I have already "wiped" the top of my box once with my knees because I have plugged too many hard disks into the front panel

So in front I have two USB2 and eight USB3 connectors are accessible from the back.

The computer I built is for my Church secretary and she probably doesn't want to move the box in and out to get at the ports on the back when she wants to plug into usb3.

My little Samsung galaxy tab 3.6 died, this would be alright except for the picts and vids I have recorded aren't on the sd card but in system memory. The usb plug broke so I can't charge the battery or hook up to my computer.

Four days in Lanesboro Minnesota, my wife's sisters reunion. Her family was six sisters, no brothers. Well, four of us brother in laws were dragged along on this. We four at least got to see the major attraction in the area......... The Spam museum.
It was the hottest weekend of the year, heat indexes of over 110f and today it has been raining like mad....... flash flood warnings.

Five regular drivers on vacation this week, I'm going to be driving the wheels off the van. Eleven hours on the job today, about half of that driving time, the rest waiting..... A full day tomorrow scheduled.
