Yes this is a true fact. Coffee tastes more bitter in a white cup. Why? Our brain associates the color brown with bitterness. A clear cup triggers a sense of sweetness that also hinders the coffee experience. The color blue conveys both bitter and sweet to our brain at the same time so coffee tastes more intense in a blue mug....... Taste is a strange sense.
