Wow that jewelry looks amazing

Me and my friend were attending the RPC: Role Play Convention in Cologne in May and we found an artist drawing some manga style characters. Well Hiki's work is 10 times better than what we have seen there. Sadly I have lost the photo I took.

I usually see the same thing when I go to conventions. I rarely see even a few people near Hiki's quality.
I can only think of 3 artist that I have seen in the past few years that are near or above Hiki's level. And I have seen alot of artists.

Also Sakura, who are the people in the picture that you posted?

Hahahaha, and I'm not even that good yet xD Though I do think I've improved quite a lot lately.. 8D
In any case, around here the people who are at conventions generally don't draw that great (yet). But I'll be at a convention again next year, but I'll be cosplaying with my friend and her friend (we're going as otome from Mai-Otome) and leave my mother with handling the stand while I hang out with them |D I'm a terrible person xD

*copy/paste from journal* It's not much, but I don't know when I'll be able to finish it.. I'm also in a bit of an art block, but by looking at different colour palettes (if you look closely you can see a palette is open along with the drawing) I got a little inspiration and this came out. I was going to keep it as a doodle, but the lines turned out cleaner than I had expected, so now it'll be a semi-doodle :'D

Wow, that's really good! One comment, though, the wind seems to be flowing weirdly. Some of her hair is flowing to one side but her ponytail is to the opposite direction.

It's actually supposed to do that :'D But it's good of you to notice :3

And here's a doodle, because doodling is the most fun to do and no one has any expectations of doodles, I made for my friend who passed all her classes/courses. She is one of the three Muskattiers, so it's only fitting to draw Megan :'D Drew some more Amy and Megan crap after that which I may or may not scan, but if I do I'll be sure to upload those as well :'D
