Well, not really, but fo r avery good reason: When directors and animators focus on fanservice, they forget about the plot.

Well see, I've always just been about plot...well actually...lol...head overloads... What I like is Char, I think people miss that, as long as you have lovable chars, you'll have at least a fairly good story. I really don't understand the whole "relating to a char", you don't have to relate to a char to like a story. Thats where a lot of good comics seem to fall now-a-days, plus the whole "make it real"

I enjoy a bit of fanservice, if it's done right. Check out Goldenboy, that has lots of fanservice and lots of plot. Fanservice can add a lot of humor to an anime.

there are probably other exceptions (cant think of any right now :swt: ) that would give a good series but still have fanservice.

Najika, Blitz Tactics, was a pretty good series, not spectacular but the plot is entertaining. And oh, the fanservice. Every shot is from ground angle.
