Start with reading the Silmarillon.
I think you're just okay with your plans and I'm like you.

Ok, new priority one........ build my storage shed.

see, there are still a few things in the old head to do. Just shouldn't work on long term dreams.......... at my age, you don't buy green bananas.

I'd purrrefer Sindarin instead... an elven tongue from Tolkien's Lord of the Rings. Elven girl is what I would dress next to cat and I think it fits me more (after you drop the impression that elven have to be tall)
On third position is "fairy"... it has WINGS :gg:

Next up on my bucket list: get a tattoo wrapping around my ankle and down the side of my foot in Tolkien's Elvish script saying "Not all those who wander are lost".

In most mythology, elves are little people. Between human and fairy sizes. I haven't read Tolkien's books so I don't know if he describes the elves as being tall, but he would be one of the few who does.

Gpa, YOU HAVEN'T READ TOLKIEN'S BOOKS?? Say what, now? I am no longer related to you. :pif:
And yes, Tolkien does describe them as tall, and actually, many myths and legends from many cultures do describe them as being tall.

My dear kitten, I have read hundreds of scifi books, and lots of other books. I've read the whole Dune series, Have you? I've read most of Asimov's scifi work. I have around 700 scifi books still in boxes waiting to be read. When I get done with them, I'll read Tolkien.

Again, I say, I am no longer related to you. Explain to me how we had about 3 different copies of the entire LoTR trilogy, plus most of JRR Tolkien's other works, all of the years I was growing up (and more), and YOU'VE NEVER READ ANY OF IT?
