like i said, we haven't used compost in a while. still tastes oishii to me, if not better knowing it wasn't grown in horsesh!t.

As I remenber in germany once they used human crap to plant food crops, which is not wise because of comtamation.

Hmm... Only plantation I would know about are bananas (my father is an agronomical engineer, has worked with bananas for 25 or so years now), lemons (I used to take care of a lemon tree back in school) and a little about coffee (dad's family work mostly with coffee, and we visit them a lot).

Ah yes, coffee, lifeblood of my generation........ Darn, now I have to drink decaf, (irregular heart beats) and there aren't as many gourmet coffee's in decaf.

We use to have a garden, green beans, peas, carrots, corn, tomatoes, radishes, onions, ect. And out at her dads farm, lots of potatoes. Just don't have the time now with the wifes business.
