Ditto. Actually, I would have liked Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (the game) more if it weren't for those scenes. Not that I'm complaining of anything, they just kind of don't go well with the whole conspiracy/mistery/terror play of the rest of the game.

Oh, Sagematt gave me an english patch for it. Dunno where he got it, though.

I've not been able to find a place to download the game, although I doubt I'll enjoy it very much with the sub-par character drawings of the PC version.
