It has "more features" and a higher price and you can upgrade your license to XP Pro.
By the way I got my BIOS back!
Very good hint from O-kun: Boot windows, plug in any USB hard disk and safely disconnect it using the icon in your tray. Do NOT turn off the power. Reboot. The drive will spin up on boot and will give the 5-10 second delay necessary for the video card to finish initializing it's 512 mb ram.
Now you know just in case. Vista is round the corder (gladly not around my corner hehe)

Hmm rather a new video card, I would like to get one of those new MacBook Pros with the 17 inch screen and 2.5 GHz core 2 duo
But good for you! It's good that you're saving money to put it in yourself.

Re: Farewell
My dad has Vista, he hasn't complained... I didn't complained when he got Windows ME, though, so I guess it's just as bad as the last few incarnations of this "OS".

Re: Farewell
Illegal download that is... you can always use a test version of XP for 60 days and reinstall.
Or use Ubuntu from the start, legally.

I doubt it. I just meant he isn't complaining. Must be that he's accustomed to those nasty BSODs, random freezes and crashes and all the malware and viruses...Sakura wrote:Wait... you mean... actually... it's running? Without crashes?
