Journey to Erehwon The game begins

*Tim looks the spider over. He had always liked spiders, but maybe not this big a spider. Tim holds the hatchet a bit tighter when he hears Bruce mention there might be other surprises.Tim never liked fighting, even though they taught it in school, but now he thought that maybe having a sword nearby wasn't a bad thing. Tim started quickly started packing things back into the cart.*

Tim: I think we should move farther on. The rabbits told me that we would be out of the frightening forest in a couple more kilometers...... if we make it. He sounded a bit ominous.

*Tim is startled as vines and oak tree branches start pulling away the spider. Soon ugly black carrion birds start landing around the clearing.*

Tim: Those don't look friendly....... I hope they know I'm not a zombie. They only eat dead things, don't they?

*Tim finishes hitching the cart, and almost runs, leading Clyde up the path.*

*Rune shivers as she sees the dead spider being eaten.*

Rune: I don't know if I feel sorry for the spider or glad...*Rune looks at one of the spider's leg as it seemed to move, Rune's eyes widened as she moved closer to her friends.* I'm glad...I'm glad...I'm glad...

[Freya]

*Emiko grumbles as they trudge on*

Emiko: damn frikkin giant sp-spider.....

[Kira]

*Bruce couldn't help but grin, upon hearing Emiko*

Bruce: Do not worry, I am here now. With this sword I shall slay anything that may pose a threat, even a great dragon!

[oldwrench]

Faelyn whispers: Clyde, Tim hasn't been saying anything. It seems really strange. The only thing he's said is lions and tigers and bears.

Clyde: I assume this woods frightens him, we have no woods like this where we come from.

*Suddenly a large, shiny, figure steps out of the woods in front of Tim.*

Tim: AAAAhhh

Figure:AAAAAAhhhhh!

Tim: AAAAAAAAHHHhhh!!

Figure: AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Tim: Oh, crap, you can yell louder than me......... Hey! you're a tin man.

Figure: No I'm not, I'm an suit of armor..... I'm Alphy, and I'm looking for my little brother Eddy, he's a short blond guy in a red coat. He was chasing after a non-rabbit. It kind of looks like a rabbit but has antlers.

Tim: Oh, you mean the jackalope. They were in a hole, back down the trail a ways. But I didn't see your brother.

Alphy: I never heard of a jackalope, just non-rabbits, and they're dangerous. Eddy needs to capture one, cause we need it to find the rosetta stone. If we take it to shanbrala we can bypass the laws of quantum mechanics and I can exchange this armor for my body again. My brother was trying to conjour up his lost tin soldier, but he screwed up and I wound up like this. My body is just on the other side of the gate, just a quantum leap away. It's one of those things, you can see it, but you can't get there from here. That's why we need the stone.

Tim: Ah, ok, that sounds all wrong........ Well, we're looking for the data balls and Erehwon.

Alphy: That old story, if you find the seven balls, a giant dragon comes and grants you a wish. I've heard that one. There was strange guy, Gonzo, looking for the dragon balls.

Tim: Hmm, that sounds like something different. Well, I hope you find your brother, the, ah, non-rabbits were in a hole in a clearing about a kilometer that way, better hurry, before the vines eat him.

[yuki_tenshi]

*Rune watched as the suit of armor clunked away following the direction Tim pointed.* How come that all sounded so familiar...

Rune: That armor guy just reminded me of a show I used to watched...I forgot the name.

Chichi, looks at Rune incredulously: What are you saying?

Rune: I mean there's this show I know I used to watch before...well, before I met that Grim Reaper guy...it's about two boys who did alchemy or something like that. The younger boy became a suit of armor and the older of the two lost an arm and a leg. And then they burn their house after the older boy got some artificial metal limbs and they go on a journey to find the Philosopher stone...

Chichi: You humans watch a lot of weird things.

*Rune heard Emiko protest about the slight insult*

Rune: Well, excuse me. I think I found the show quite entertaining. *Rune sticks her tongue out at Chichi before walking faster to leave the floating soul behind her.*

[Freya]

*emiko recalls the name of the show*

Emiko: hey wasn't it called something like Fullmetal uhm.... Panic or Alchemist or something like that?

*emiko shoots Bruce a look as if to say she doesn't need his protection*

Tim: A show? He was a movie star?? Wow, I could have asked for his autograph......... Um, I don't remember any show like that. Well, all the movies we had were about farming and stuff. How could you have a show about a full metal, panicked alchemist anyway? That must have been a weird show. And what's an alchemist, is it like a pharmacist? Does he make cold medicine and stuff?

[Freya]

*Emiko walks up to Tim, puts on a sweet (fake) smile and pats him on the head*

Emiko: Sure sure, you can think that! ^^

*Emiko turns quietly to the others in a motion Tim is not supposed to see. It's a look that's supposed to say "why bother explaining?" *

[Kira]

*Bruce couldn't help but smile at the obvious fake smile and the look she gave as she turned. He looks in awe at this strange new world he has wandered upon. He lets out a sigh. Thinking about his home, his earth. He smiles again*

Bruce: Heh.
