Journey to Erehwon The game begins

Tim: Oh, thanks Merenwen. Magic glass? *Tim reaches out and touches the barrier.* Wow, real magic. I saw a man do magic once, but it was just fake stuff. But this is real, they taught us that there was no real magic, but this is real.

Faelyn: Of course there is real magic, that's what I was going to that school for, so I could learn the magic to fly.

Tim: You can almost fly, do you almost know enough magic? Is it hard to learn how to fly? If I learned magic, could I have wings and learn to fly? Do all the fairies learn to fly? Why weren't they all flying after you then?

Faelyn: No,not all fairies learn to fly, only the special fairies. Hegwilt would come to the village every few years and pick the most promising fairies for his school...... Hmm, he always picked the girls himself, he just let them send whichever boys they wanted to.

Tim: I'm sure you're a really special fairy, Faelyn. That must be why Hegwilt took those pictures with his security camera things, like that boy Murt told us. He must have wanted to see your potential development.

Faelyn: PICTURES!! What pictures?

Tim: The boy fairy said he had some naughty pictures of the girls. He must have wanted to check how well you were developing.

Faelyn: HEGWILT! That letcher! I'LL KILL HIM!!!

Tim: What? What do you mean, wasn't he trying to help?

*Morphin has hold of faelyn by her belt as she tries to run.*

Clyde: Please Faelyn, settle down. I don't think you would be a match for the old wizard at this time. And, if you did kill him, it would only cause you trouble. I would suggest we bide our time, try to find Erehwon, then use the knowledge we gain to take down the dirty old man.

Faelyn relaxes: Alright, but as soon as I get good at my magic, he is soooo dead.

Tim, confused: But why? Wasn't he trying to teach you magic things? Teachers always help their students. He might have been planning to give you special lessons.

Faelyn, glaring red faced at Tim: Special lessons? Right, you think he was trying to help me. *Turns and starts walking.* Boy, are you naive.

*Tim looks at the others, who are trying no to laugh.*

Tim: I'm naive? Did I say something wrong? Why was she getting so red faced?

[Hiki]

Merenwen: Let it rest, Tim, you'll figure it out one day.

*Merenwen walks to Faelyn*

Merenwen: How are you going to get better at magic, if you're not at school anymore?

Tim, pouting: You sound like my mom, "You'll understand when you grow up." But I am all grown up, why don't I know. I really want to find Erehwon. Then I'll know everything.

Faelyn, tiny crystal tears in her eyes: I don't know, Merenwen. I just want to be the best at magic. But that dirty old man kept asking me to do......... well, things. I KNEW he was trying to do more than teach me magic, I wouldn't do those..... things. Now I don't know what I'll do. Everyone seems to be against me. Now I HAVE to find this Erehwon place, if it exists, so I can learn how to use my magic, then I can make it all better. But that Tim, he's just as bad as Hegwilt, always grabbing me or I'm landing on..... is he that bad, or........... or is he, really that dumb.

[Hiki]

Merenwen: I think he's not the smart... But you know what, I don't think flying is very different for fairies than it is for demons, so if you want, I could teach you. I'm going to teach Emiko some magic as well.

*Merenwen smiled.*

[Freya]

*emiko continues to hop up and down clapping her hands*

Emiko: MAGIC!!! ^o^

[Hiki]

*Merenwen turns to Emiko*

Merenwen: Why are you so interested in magic?

[Freya]

*Emiko stops jumping, stands still, looks at Merenwen and shrugs*

Emiko: It used to be my hobby, I want to make it my life.

*Emiko smirks an evil little smirk*

I'll show everyone!

[Hiki]

Merenwen: Make it your life, huh? Ah well, if it makes you happy.

[Freya]

Emiko: so when do we begin!?

Faelyn: We can learn magic from the books I brought from school. *Frowns* Shoot, I left the books at the village, and I can't go back THERE. *Brightens* I know, I'll summon my bag with a spell.

*Faelyn makes a magic sign with her hands and begins to glow blue as she chants a magic spell. suddenly a bewildered looking dragon appears before them. The dragon looks around then at Faelyn, and puffs.*

Dragon: Oh good grief, child. *and with a wave of his paw, disappears.*

Faelyn: Wrong summoning spell. I'll try again.

*Again Faelyn glows blue as she chants a different spell. suddenly a dark cloud forms over them and it begins to rain.*

Faelyn begins to cry: Waaaaa, why doesn't it work right for me, waaaa. I studied hard, I just want to be a good magic girl, waaaa. I'll never be able to fly, and to do good things for people, waaaa. No-one will like me. *Faelyn sits down on the damp ground.*
