Journey to Erehwon The game begins

Merenwen: Not exactly... I'm from the underworld. Demon, remember? I don't have any siblings, I think. My kind doesn't like big families. Though sometimes there are some big families, but they send away their children, so they still won't have a big family. So unless that happened with my family, I don't have brothers or sisters. What happens when you fall of the edge of the world?

Tim: The underworld, is that where the sun goes at night? If you live under the world why don't you fall off? Is it hard to get to the underworld. Hey, can you get to the underworld if you fall off the edge of the world? Do all the people in the underworld have wings? Is that how you stay on the underworld, by using your wings? If this is the world, and you are from the underworld, Chin, do you come from the overworld? Is that really high up, cause I cant see it.

*Tim takes a big bite of his hamburger, and decides that a big mac is pretty good. But the drink, well there's only one, it did say seven up. and It must just be a glass of water. Tim picks up the cup and takes a big swallow................. suddenly poor Tim is choking and coughing, his eyes watering. This must be the fire water the old men talk about.*

Merenwen: erm... no.. not everyone has wings. It depends on what kind of demon you are. We don't fall off.. so I don't know. Let's just say I'm not the smartest down there... Are you alright?

[oldwrench]

*Tim thinks this must be the stuff the grown men drink, they tell him he's not old enough to drink it. So Tim tries to sit up straight, and use a deep adult voice. But with tears in his eyes, and more of a croak to his voice, he doesn't make too much of an adult picture.*

Tim croaks: Ya, That's really good stuff. *Tim coughs some and finally gets settled down,* Oh, then how do people stay on, do you all have sticky feet? No, then the dirt would all get stuck on. Something must keep everyone from falling off. Maybe the whole place just sucks. Is underworld a nice place? I'd like to see it sometime. Maybe there are data balls there. If you're in underworld, isn't this world below you? If so, wouldn't this e the underworld? And if you're in the overworld, wouldn't this be the underworld too? Maybe this is really middle world. Are there any Hobbits around here? Chin, where do you come from? Why are you here? Does everyone have wings at your home? Can you go to the moons? How far up does the sky go?

Merenwen: Mmm... The underworld is a very nice place! There's lots of fire and vulcanoes and very nice weapons and lots of places to torture should you want to, but I never torture anyone. It's a lot nicer than here, it is the home of demons after all..

Tim: Ooo, sounds really nice. What are volcanoes? Do you get to play with fire? I like to play with fire, but moma spanked me if she caught me. Are you really a demon? I never met a demon before. Are you evil like the priests say? You don't seem evil. I don't know what torture is, do you do it with weapons? I have my boyscout knife, is that a good enough weapon to do torture stuff? Could you take me to underworld? I'd like to play with the fire. You could torture me............ and I'd torture you. *Tim blushes brightly, thinking maybe it's one of those "adult" things, since she doesn't do it.* Um, I mean...... Um, if it's not something naughty.

*Tim looks down and quickly attacks his hamburger and fries, still quite red faced.*

Merenwen: Of course it's not something naughty! Everyone in the underworld does it. And yes, you use weapons for it. You could use your knife, but I prefer something bigger... like axes! I wouldn't want to be tortured, though, and I'm not sure you'd like it either.

*Merenwen smiled*

Merenwen: I guess you could say demons are evil. Now that you mention it, I think they're right. If you look from their point of view. And I looooooooove to play with fire!

[oldwrench]

Tim: That's so cool, can I be evil? I could be really evil. *Tim lets out a rather high and squeaky Muwahhahhah, pretty much anything but evil.* I'd be really good evil, and we could play with the fire. Can I play with a volcano? Are volcano's fun? Do you use volcanoes to torture? If I go to underworld can I have wings? Will you go with us to underworld, Chin? Do you like to play with fire too? Can I go to overworld? What is overworld like?

*Suddenly a woman is standing by the table in front of Tim.*

Woman: You! You're the boy that evil fairy stole the soul from. You must be a monster, a zombie! And, and you! *She points to Merenwen.* You're that evil fairy's slave, an evil demon. *She screeches loudly.* Demons! Zombies!

*An angry crowd assembled around the table in the middle of the room, bent on driving the evil ones out. Soon they are brandishing bricks, knives, swords, shotguns, hand grenades, rocket launchers, and worst of all, a baka stick. Tim needs to do something before things get out of hand. He jumps up on his chair.*

Tim: Wait, please, it's not like that at all. Nobody stole anything from me, I should know, I was there. It was just an accident. Faelyn didn't do that seducing stuff or anything. I was running and I ran into something and fell down and Faelyn, ah, sort of fell down onto me. *Tim blushes.* She was trying to get off, really. And Merenwen doesn't even know her, she was just there. And she's not an evil demon, well she's a demon, but she's good evil, not bad at all.

The woman points at Merenwen: but all demons are evil, she must be truely evil.

Chin: But she's wearing a silver cross.

Woman: What? She can't be. *Looks closer at Merenwen.* Oh, she really is, and it isn't burning her. Well, that makes things completely different. So sorry, my mistake, all you people can go back home, nothing to see here.

[Hiki]

*Merenwen had been ready to hurt those people if they tried anything, even thoug they had a good reason, Merenwen didn't like people with baka sticks and all the other stuff.*

Merenwen: I have a better idea, let's find the one who posted that bill.

*And hurt him good, she thought.*

Merenwen: Then we can clear that faeries name, and mine. And no one will bother us anymore. After that we can go find those data balls.

[oldwrench]

Tim: Maybe we should find Faelyn first. If these people came after us, she could be in a lot of trouble too. *Takes another drink of his 7up, the stuff tastes good but still burns on his tongue.* Let's finish our food and go search for her. Chin, you haven't told us where you're from. Does Morphin come from the same place. Do all the wolves there talk? I never saw a white wolf. Is he real old?
