Re: good things
Sounds like fun :)
I may or may not have a job in the near future... :'D I don't want to jinx it, but whatever. I'll know more about it on Thursday :)

Re: good things
Yes, it is :D I had class right after the meeting so I didn't have time to post before this :')
Things are looking good! Chances are I can go to Animecon (the biggest anime convention in the Netherlands as far as I know) as artist on someone else's costs! They have to talk to Animecon's staff first and all that, but the plans are sound and it seems like it'll be a lot of fun. Now I'm just hoping everything will work out :D

That's true, although I didn't see Phade on the guest list this year. I really hope he make it back. I love his AMV panels.oldwrench wrote:That comes from all that wild and wicked living............
Glad you're feeling better, that can be a nasty illness. You have to stay healthy, Anime Detour is coming.
This will be Anime Detour's tenth anniversary, doesn't seem like it can be that long. I remember the first one, it was a lot of fun. So many things went wrong and they had three times as many attendees as they expected. It was great fun, and still is. Some of the voice actors who were guests then have come back every year. They have become friend of ours, it's great to see them every year.

Under media and industry, Kris McCormic....... that's Phade
OOOooo, Matt Greenfield is going to be back. He's a very intelligent man, he's done a lot in the industry. If you want to know anything about the industry, ask him, especially about Evangelion.
It's getting close to maple syrup season. We went out and put taps in about 75 trees Saturday. Some of them were running sap already. We're going to have to hang pails and start collecting soon.

Re: good things
That makes me think of ice cream (=w=); There's B&J's with maple syrup (Vermonster I think it's called) and it's very tasty :D

Re: good things

Re: good things
It's a local group of old guys who have been making syrup for years. I'm one of the young ones....... average age must be 75 or so. yes it's legal, and they sell some of what they make, what's left over after giving to the local churches and other groups. a couple years ago the said they made over 70 gallons....... that's over 2800 gallons of sap.
