I won't be posting an exe until we make it to at least the alpha phase of the game. So instead I will post screen shots to show the progress so that you can comment on any concerns.

I have the base down for the Dialog Box. It does not display text yet, but we will be able to use what ever image we want to be the Dialog Box container. Here is an example picture.

Ok, now we need to make some decisions on the font.

I have made a display with 6 examples of font types that I think would work.
Please rank them in order of how you like the fonts for our game. 1 to 6 with #1 being the best and #6 being worst.

Also is you have a different font that you think would work, please list what it is and give an example in the form of a picture.

numbers 1 and 5 are both easy to read and nice to look at. 5 is a bit prettier and more feminine looking, 1 is more masculine.

I give up tryng to make sense of the codes. =.="
1- how about we don't just make it about cat girls. I think we should incorperate all animal-base/human characters.
2-how about we use things like MMD to do 3D graphics for the game. Like in Final Fantasy(?) Where they only use 3d after the battle sequence(I.e. the battle. Is in 2d) that way we get some variety.
3-*eats more catnip.* FREE FOR ALL CATNIP BUCKET!
4- Also maybe everyone can contribute artwork. That way the characters don't all have the same facial and body styles.
5-and who will do the theme music and all the other little harmonies in between?

As for the different artist idea.. It would be nice, but wouldn't it make it a tad annoying if everything had different styles? At YouTube Chorus we once decided to make our own song and the art also came up. We figured it would be highly annoying if there were different drawing styles and colouring styles in the PV, so that's probably going to be the same in a game.

And about the 3D.. 2D and 3D in the same game might be a bit weird.. Don't forget that Square is top notch and has the manpower to create great games, whereas we are only doing this for fun and have 2 people for encoding and about 3-4 people for the story (idk who all want to work on the story xD). And I don't really like the things that were made with MMD (or I never saw the right things). But that's just my (not so very humble) opinion..

It might be nice to have some other animal/human characters other than cats. Maybe "Daisy"'s rival could be a dog/human or something *shrug*.

But whatever. Like I said, I'll stick to the art stuff. The rest is all up to the rest of you :)

I see wat you mean. Well then I vote Hiki for our artist!

and mmd is hard to use and stuupid at times. Like I said I gave up a long time ago trying to figure out the codes and format options.
