Inshou (Gakkou 2nd Season)

*Mike looked over the area maps Kunikida had, there were gaps in the sensor coverage. If the demons had forces there, they couldn't see them.*

Mike: Kunikida, we have to head out anyway, how about setting up a com link with my truck. We're a bit low on amo, but we could make a run around to the south and see what it stirs up before we head to the city. If they have forces in your sensor gaps we might uncover them.

Kunikida: Ya, well, I'd love to have some sensor data from those areas, but if you're getting low on amo, I wouldn't want you to get into trouble.

Mike: We'd be alright. The truck can outrun a lot of the demons, and we have enough amo for that run. If the crap hits the fan, we could make it back here. If nothing much happens, we can head back to the city for the night.

Kunikida: Well....... Hideki's not here......... I guess we could do it though. we need data.

*Mike and Aki collected Kelly and her soldiers and headed to the truck. Kunikida showed Aki how to set up the link on the com system then the friends said goodbye and the truck headed out. Mike tried to keep a sharp watch as the truck hurried through the areas to the south, but no demons attacked. There were a couple fliers, and a couple small demons, but nothing out of the ordinary. After the loop south, Aki told Kunikida they'd try to get back in the morning, and they headed back to the city. Mike hoped Toru wouldn't be too upset. They'd been gone quite a while.*

[Zeratul2k]

Hideki: Well, thanks...

* Hideki kept looking at Rina's eyes. *

Hideki: ... I'm sorry I couldn't keep my promise... I don't want to let you down... not again.

[Raine]

Rina:silly,what have you done wrong?stop apologising....

*locks her arms around his neck*

Rina:oh my im with a leader of erm...pirates right?

*before he could answer she had lean forward and kiss him,it amazed her how he was still timid*

* Hideki forgot about everything, there was only Rina for him now. Suddenly, knocks on the door brought him back to reality. *

???: Sir? We are waiting for you. Your friends took their truck and are doing a run to the south to try and lure out any monsters.

* Hideki moved away from Rina and sighed. *

Hideki: Ok, I'll be there in a minute.

* He looked at Rina again and gave her a quick peck. *

Hideki: Sorry, have to go.

[Raine]

Rina:im coming too!!

*hideki open his mouth but ended up shutting it when rina kiss him*

Rina:im going...your stuck with me till i go back to seal city

*cross her arms and turns away pouting*

* Hideki smiles then walks to the back of his room. *

Hideki: Ok, but give me a minute to change into my armor. I have a feeling I'll need it.

* He opened the closet door, revealing his armor, stored as if it were some kind of old samurai armor. *

[Raine]

*Rina follows him and watches him*

Rina*blushes*:um well....i definetely wouldnt want to see you changed so i'll wait for you outside?should i?

*Rina looks side to side,up to down*

Rina:i definetely should...

Hideki: If you want to...

* Said Hideki jokingly as he took off his shirt, leaving his undershirt on, and took the breastplate. Rina looked at him weird as he put the breastplate on over it. *

[Raine]

*Rina turns around,embarassed by the fact he was changing*

Rina:you should be careful when were out there....
*rina plays with her fingers*

Rina:we haven't finish talking in here*blushes madly*...so we better come back and finish what we started...

[Zeratul2k]

* Hideki continued putting on his armor in silence. Rina stared at the door while playing with her hands and waiting for an answer. *

Rina: eeto...

* Tired of waiting, Rina was about to turn around, when Hideki came up to her holding the armor's helmet on his hand. *

Hideki: Sorry for the wait. Let's get going.

* Hideki led Rina outside where four of the eight squads where assembled. Ringo and Mio would stay in charge of the base's defenses while the attack team was away. Hideki took a quick over his troops, all of them looked nervous, ones more than others, but were heavily armed with battle and anti-tank rifles, shoulder-launched missiles and multiple shot grenade launchers. *

Hideki: I want two squads in the truck, the other two take the rest of the cars. I want all guns locked and loaded.

* The soldiers quickly accomplished their orders and a few minutes after, the convoy was underway. Hideki put on his helmet and checked his guns before calling Kunikida through the radio. *

Hideki: Control, are you there?

Kunikida: Always, Foxtrot.

Hideki: Did our friends find anything?

Kunikida: Small fry, nothing of interest.

Hideki: ... I hope we are wrong about this.

Kunikida: Agreed.

* Zasz woke up as soon as he felt the vibration caused by the convoy. He had felt the vibration caused by the Aesir's truck as well, but had told his troops to ignore them. A few monsters that where out in recon duty where caught by the truck's guns, but Zasz thought it was better that way. If the place were completely deserted, it would be very, very suspicious. A small monster landed next to him and shrieked several times. *

Zasz: Ah, so he's coming this way... the timing couldn't be better.

* Zasz stood up and stretched. He was almost human-like, except for his green reptilian skin and cat-like eyes. *

Zasz: Relay a message! Char will lead the attack on their base. And I will take care of these cocky brats.
