He and his friends had rescued Aki. He thought of the others, Daiki and Kimara, Hideki and Rina, When he was young, interracial friendships like that were a taboo. Could Aki and her friends break down the racial barriers, or was that just a dream,*
*Samuel dropped Kunikida off at his home. Kunikida sat down at his computer. He thought about his friends and sighed. Geeks like him didn't end up with the girls....... except in video games. He opened up his favorite game, World of Warriors, and was happy to see his favorite companion, Diana, was online.
*Daiki and Kimara stood outside Kimara's house. Daiki was thinking about how he'd left Kimara and run off when he heard Aki was gone.*
Daiki: Kimara, I shouldn't have run off and left you when we heard about Aki's kidnapping. I'm sorry, it was rude and.....
Kimara, looking down: It's alright, Daiki. I know Aki is the one you're interested in........ I guess I was just hoping........
*Kimara's words were cut off, her eyes grew wide, as Daiki suddenly pulled her close and kissed her...... Daiki looked down into her soft brown Eyes.*
Daiki: You.... are my girlfriend, Kimara. Don't ever doubt it........ I'll be back in about an hour. We'll go out to a movie or something.
*Kimara felt like she was floating, she couldn't believe this was real, as she watched the handsome young kitsune walk away.*
*Kelly sat at her desk, brooding, what was she going to say to those two. They had been right, they had barely made it on time, by what Daiki had told her. And their plan may even have worked out, if she hadn't gotten there so soon. Damn...... She was going to have to ream them out good anyway. She had to put the brakes on those boys. She couldn't have two loose cannons running around, especially of their caliber. And get them together with their friends........ who even knew the potential of that bunch. Dr. Freeman was right, they needed to keep an eye on Hideki's group of friends. They could either be the ones that prevent the next war........ or start it.*
*Dr. Freeman got a call from the mysterious man who he just called the voice. He only knew the voice seemed to have a lot of power. Like the time the voice asked about a research project, and Dr. Freeman told him the budget had been cut, the next day Dr. Freeman found their budget had been substantially increased. The voice never seemed to give orders, but if he asked for something......... you better deliver.*
Voice: Ah, I didn't think you had given them those orders. I'm not surprised to see them take the initiative. It was quite a demonstration, they are living up to my expectations.
Dr. Freeman: Yes, but I didn't expect them to act so soon. I still don't know how they found her.
Voice: It was the kitsune boy, apparently he must have a possession mark on her, though the relationships seem strange...... There is also the unusual phenomenon of the lightning strikes at the site.
Dr. Freeman: Yes, we heard about that, and from a clear sky. It must have been some form of magic being used, but none of the researchers here has a clue to what it could be.
Voice: Mmm... Perhaps Kelly suspects something. She has been doing some research of her own, mostly into the ancient myths of the various races. She started this just after that interesting training session between the two boys. I believe Kelly has found something she is not sharing with us.
Dr. Freeman: She's under orders to tell our people anything she learns about those boys....... I'll call her in and reprimand her.
Voice: I would prefer if you didn't. Kelly is too valuable the way she is, I would hate to stifle her initiatives. She may have some underlying reason for withholding the information. It would be better if you could find a way to draw the information out of her without causing her any alarm.

Kelly: Sir, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have sent kids in to.....
Freeman: You don't have to try to make something up, Kelly. I know they, ah, borrowed your car and planned this on their own. Seems things turned into quite a mess in the end. What's your assessment of the boys plan, was it poorly planned?
Kelly: From what I learned from Daiki and Hideki, the plan seemed pretty good. Two were going to create a diversion at the front gate while the others attempted to get in the side doors and rescue the people who were held there. I may have caused the plan to fail when I got there to early and had Samuel break in the front gate. As it was, they got most of the people out before things heated up. I think they came up with an intelligent plan in the short time they had to work with.
Freeman: Hmm, that's good. You've been with this group on several operations now. They seem to be a closely knit group. How do you assess their abilities?
Kelly thought for a minute: They're a varied, but talented, bunch. I don't know if I could come up with a more effective operational group if I hand picked them myself. Kimara and Kunikida aren't fighters, but Kunikida is a very good computer hacker and game player. He picked up flying the spy planes in minutes. Kimara seems to have some magic ability, especially with healing. The two girls Rina and Aki both have pretty amazing control of magic, and both are pretty good when it comes to a fight. The kitsune boy, Daiki is easily an above average fighter, and he to has a fairly good ability with magic. You know what Hideki's been doing, but lord, he's just barely beginning to learn to use his armor. I have no idea how far he'll advance in a few months. Mike is........ You've see that he can match Hideki in armor right now. And he could be...... *Kelly looked down, how could she tell him, he'd think she's crazy.*
Freeman: I know there is something that Mike has under his shirt that glows when he fights. Does it have something to do with the odd phenomenon at the rescue this morning? Have you found out something in your researches?

I don't think Mike even came from the earth.......... *Kelly looked defiantly at Dr. Freeman.* I think the race that Mike comes from have been here before. I think they're the ones that were called gods in our ancient mythology. I think Mike is the son of the god of war.... Thor.

Sir, I don't believe in the gods of mythology, but what if somewhere in space there is another race, one probably far older than ours, and farther advanced in either science or in magic. They say that technology far enough advanced over what we know would appear to be magic, and I think Magic far enough advanced over what we know would make them appear as gods. The odd thing is, I don't believe Mike, or the other kids, knows anything about this.

We may need to use them. These kids could be what we need to head off any racial wars. They also could be the beginning of racial co-operation that we've been searching for. *Kelly sat at her desk. Damn those boys were too much. She'd taken them to the beach, each weighted down with a load calculated to each's size. Kelly set up a course down the beach, twenty kilometers, ten out and ten back. She decided to run along, just to make sure they stayed on the soft sand, while she ran on the hard sand near the water. Kelly hadn't figured on those two clowns turning this into a race. It didn't take long for them to leave her in their dust. Even though she'd turned when she saw them coming back from the ten k marker, by the time she got back she'd found the two joking with each other about waiting so long for her. Damn, seems she was the one being punished.*
*Mike bought a flower for Aki on the way to pick her up for school. When Aki came out, Mike was frozen in place. He was sure if you looked up "perfect" in a dictionary, you would find a picture of Aki. Her green hair in a ponytail, her bright crimson eyes, soft red lips, her petite figure in her school uniform, added up to the most desirable thing Mike could imagine. Aki's mom had to poke Mike several times to get his attention.*

Ryu:Rina's condition worries me...and i believe that the dog girl is in danger...and having Rina there...they both might overcome something they have in common.....these three girls in that group has something everybody needs...
*Ryu did not finish as he greeted his daughter as she came running down the stairs,she kiss them on the cheek and said her goodbye*
Kisane:Rina....Hideki hasnt arrive yet...
*A dissapointed smile came upon her face*
Rina:It's already pass 7 i dont think he will be coming...
Kisane;i see....seiryu...is done in about 5 minutes wait for him will you...
*after 5 minutes Rina and seiryu were walking alongside each other to school*

* Hideki's legs hurt a little after the run in the morning, but it wasn't anything Hideki hadn't gotten used to while his dad trained him, so he ignored it and kept walking to school. He was late because Samuel had kept him for a while to ask him about the boys that talked to him in school before (the ones from his old gang). Apparently, they had been following Hideki around for a while now and the people in charge of watching over him didn't know what to do about them. He told Samuel to just leave them alone, he would take care of them himself... eventually. A few minutes later he was at the school gates, looking around, hoping to see Rina. He wanted to apologize for not going to walk her to school this morning. *
* On the corner of the street, two boys looked at Hideki for a second then hid behind a wall. *

*Rina walk into the school grounds,holding some files for the group she had left seiryu in the clubroom and was walking back after getting some files about the club.she sigh,she wondered ohow hideki is...she hasnt seen him lately.*

*she gasp in surprise as her files fall down onto the ground,she stared at the woman infront of her smiling*
Rina:...Y-YOur Hideki's mother....
*a buzzing sound erupted in her head she shut her eyes as she fell on her knees*
???:Rina!!!Rina are you ok???Rina!!1
*Looking up she met the worry eyes of Kimara,patting her gently on the back.*
Rina:Kimara!!look it's hideki's mum!!!
Kimara:Rina...There's noone there...Rina are you sure your ok??
*Rina look bewildered at the empty space in front of her shaking her head she smile and apologise at Kimara who help her with the files*

*Mike saw Kimara rush out the door, with Aki right behind. He followed the girls and saw Rina kneeling on the ground, her files scattered around her. At first he thought she had just dropped them and was picking them up. Mike was going to help her till Kimara knelt down asking RIna what was wrong. Mike got a feeling of evil, of foreboding, he wrapped his arm around Aki and, protectively, pulled her against himself. Mike's hard blue eyes scanned the area, but couldn't see anything suspicious. Mike heard what Rina said to Kimara and frowned. The evil feeling had gone, had the whole thing just been Rina's imagination. That just didn't seem right.*

*Aki felt a prickly sensation just before Mike wrapped an arm around her. It felt familiar and yet so hostile. Aki noticed Mike scanning the area, she moved away from him and knelt down next to Rina and Kimara. The dog girl had a worried expression on her face and Rina just looked bewildered. Aki stood up the same time as the two handing a few of the files to Rina. She did a quick scan of the area just to be sure. Then she saw Hideki by the gate. She smiled and waved but he didn't notice her, he was looking for something...Aki turned to Rina with a small smile.* Or someone.

*Mike felt Aki pushing at his arm, trying to get him to let her go to the other girls. Mike let Aki go and watched her join the other girls. Mike felt a bit sheepish. He had acted by instinct when he grabbed Aki, he didn't want her to think he was smothering her. But after all that had happened.......... she didn't know just how frightened and helpless he'd felt when she'd been kidnapped.*

Mike: No, but I don't think it's something we can see.
Daiki: Ya, sure..... tell me another one, maybe I'll believe it.
Kimara looked at Daiki: He's right, Daiki, I think Rina saw something. Something none of us could see.
