*Rina look at Hideki,just cos of his family his being judge for things....how cruel...but isn't that why im afraid of him....damn it Rina!!Aki-chan....it's all my fault that this happen....this event....people died cos of me...*
*Rina had step forward to daiki grabbing his hands*
Rina:What can we do to help her??how can we change Aki's father's mind....tell us onegai Daiki-kun....Aki-chan is one of our precious friend just like you....we've been fighting...and we*lowers her head for a few seconds before lifting,meeting Daiki's gaze with determine eyes *We Didn't do what friends should do.....we not helping aki....we wanna be here for her....just like she was for me....

*Kimara seeing Rina's determination,stand beside her looking at daiki with the same determination in her eyes*

Kimara:Onegai daiki-kun,Help us!!!we wanna see Aki-chan!!

Daiki looked at everyone: There's nothing I can do, I asked him not to transfer Aki, but it did no good. Her dad's sure that she isn't safe here with you, that she'll only be safe getting away from you. You can try all you want, you aren't going to see her. Aki can cry her eyes out, it won't do any good. He won't change his mind, he knows Aki will be safer somewhere else. I can't help you.

*Daiki stalked out of the room.*

Mike looked at the others: Daiki's probably right, they won't let us see Aki, and the more we demand that she come back to school the less likely they will let her. We have to think about this....... It's almost class time, let's meet after school, maybe we can think of something.

*Mike walked out, dejected. Aki's father was wrong. He would get Aki hurt, or worse. But how could Mike convince him of that?*

* Hideki sighed, taking his bag. *

Hideki: He doesn't KNOWS Aki will be safe somewhere else, he only THINKS she will be.

Kunikida: What's your point?

Hideki: ... I don't know... but from what I read about the resources of the Tsuchimi family, a different school, even a different city, won't make her any safer.

* Kunikida made a face while taking his own bag. *

Kunikida: Don't say that, dude. Last thing we want is Aki leaving the country.

Hideki: Hmm... couldn't we make him see that we are safer as a group, instead of alone?

*Mike wasn't in classes that morning. The others didn't see him leave the school. Mike stood in front of Aki's house, wondering what he could do. He could easily break into the house and take Aki..... but that would just make things worse for everyone..... The first step in a crisis situation..... open a channel of communication for negotiations. Mike took a train downtown.*

Secretary at Kyo Ayashi's office: Sir there is a Tanaka-san here to see you, he says it is an urgent security matter.

Kyo: I don't remember an appointment with a Tanaka.

Secretary: He has no appointment, but he says it's urgent. *The secretary let Mike in. Mike stood in front of Kyo's desk.*

Kyo: You! What is it that you're here about?

Mike: I've come to ask you to reconsider your plan to transfer Aki to another school, Ayashi-san.

Kyo: There's nothing to consider, I'm getting her away from that Tsuchimi boy, to a place where she'll be safe.

Mike: It would be unwise, sir, to mover her to another school where we would be less able to protect her.

Kyo: You! And what makes you think you could protect my daughter, boy?

*Mike took his military card out of his wallet and handed it to Kyo. Kyo read, Captain Micheal Tanaka, air force.*

Kyo: what is this, you're to young to be.....

Mike: I am a special case, I was raised by the military, would you like to talk to my commanding officer? *Kyo declined and handed the card back.* We know of the threat by the Tsuchimi family, they will attempt revenge no matter where you send Aki. The military, and another group have people watching the school and the students involved. It would not be wise to spread the agents out to another school. It would mean less coverage. In our school, besides Daiki, I would be there to defend Aki, and also Rina and Hideki. I have a sophisticated surveillance system in place to monitor for intruders. The commute to another school would be longer, affording greater opportunity for an assault. I believe the most likely place for attack would be during the time between home and school. Beside the agents following us, I would escort Aki to and from school. Or Daiki could, if that is your choice. Aki would be safer at our school than she is at your own home.

Kyo stood up, glaring at Mike: You've said your piece now get out....... *Mike turned to go.* I'll keep my daughter safe, I'll keep her away from that Tsuchimi boy.

Mike stopped, without turning around: You mean the one who fought against his family to save the life of an elf? The one who's mother was killed because of his actions? The one who's family considers him an outlaw? The one who started a club just to try to end the racial hatred....... the club that Aki joined because she believes the same as we do. *Mike walked out.*

*Kyo sat for a long time with his head in his hands. He knew the boy was right. If they had agents guarding the school, Aki would be safer there, the Tsuchimi's would trace her down wherever she was. Kyo just wanted to protect his family, he felt almost helpless........ Kyo left early and went home. At home he picked up Aki's cell phone and went to her room, he found her laying on her bed, as she had the last several days. Kyo laid the phone on Aki's night stand.*

Kyo: Call that young friend of yours, Micheal, tell him to pick you up for school tomorrow morning.

*Kyo walked out before a startled Aki could say anything. Kyo wrapped his arms around Ai.*

Kyo: I just didn't want it to happen again. I couldn't stand to lose her too.

Ai: I know, and so does Aki....... We just have to have some faith in them.

[oldwrench]

*Mike got back to school late during lunch break. He met Kunikida and Kimara in the clubroom.*

Kunikida: Hey man, you weren't in classes, what happened?

Mike: I..... I went to see Aki's dad.

Kimara: Oh, Micheal-senpai, what did he say? Is Aki going to come back? What happened?

Mike: I don't know, Kimara-kun. I don't know if I made things better or worse. But I just had to try.

*Aki stared at the cellphone in her hands. It's been days since she saw the little gadget. She looked at the close door before turning back to the cellphone. Then a big smile spread on her face. She would be attending school tomorrow!She jumped out of bed and did a little victory dance.*

*It was class hours so she opted to call Mike later. They should still be having classes. She got out of her room feeling more alive than she felt in days. She ran down the stairs to see Ai bringing some snacks to the living room. She followed and there she hugged her father.*

Aki: Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! *She kissed both his cheeks before letting him go and grinning widely. Kyo let out a sigh and smiled. Then looked down at her hands. They were still wrapped in bandages but they'll be gone after two days. He made sure that no one could get in or out of the house. He just didn't think Aki would try to escape more than once.*

Kyo: You really shouldn't have tried to escape. *He took Aki's hands in his.*

Aki: I'm fine, Papa...they're just little burns. They'll be gone. Besides I was going to go insane of boredom. I needed to get out.

Kyo: Well you are tomorrow. But I'm warning you, you better be more careful. I only assented to letting you go back to school because Tanaka-kun told me that it would be safer if you were with them. And I guess I've been a little overreacting, I know you're strong enough to take care of yourself. It's just sometimes I don't want to think that you're not my little girl anymore.

*Aki hugged her father and Ai took Kyo's hand.*

Aki: I'll always be your little girl Papa...

Ai: Of course. Well how about you invite your friends tomorrow for dinner? I'll set up a nice big feast for them, after all we surely worried the lot of them.

Aki: I'll ask tomorrow! *She let go of her father and twirled around happily.* I'm so happy to be going to school tomorrow~

Ai, softly laughing: Well that's something I never thought I'd hear from her.

[Raine]

*school ended and Rina and sei enter the club room to find kimara cleaning*

Rina:I found sei-kun!!!hey everyone sei is our new member as from today!!!

*she looks around*

Rina:well what are we to do for aki-chan?

* Hideki had slept through most of the classes (although not very well) and now that classes were over he headed to the clubroom. When he got there, he found almost everyone already inside. *

Hideki: Hi again, everyone... what are we talking about?

*Mike entered the clubroom. They were all there, Kunikida at the computer, Hideki had just gotten there ahead of him, Rina an the new boy Sei were there, and Daiki was sitting near Kimara, who was cleaning. If nothing else, they must have the cleanest clubroom at school. Mike suspected Kimara cleaned to occupy herself when she was stressed. They all were stressed about Aki.*

Mike: I think Rina was asking what we could do about Aki. *Mike walked over to Sei.* You look lots better than last time I saw you, glad to see you here, the more people we get in the club the better. *Mike looked down at Rina.* I went downtown today, and talked to Aki's dad. I tried to convince him that she's safer here with us than going somewhere else. I don't know if what I did was right, I don't know if I helped or hurt things. I did the best I could, but he didn't seem too pleased....... I know you feel badly Rina, but don't blame yourself. It's not your fault, or Hideki's. It's not any one persons fault, it's this racial prejudiced, it's been around far longer than we have. It's what we all would like to overcome.

*Mike's cell phone rang. Who would be calling him now? Mike answered his phone and got a big smile on his face.*

*Aki had called up Mike and was glad when he answered.*

Aki: Hullo!!! Guess who got her connection to the outside world back!!! *Aki giggled, without waiting for an answer she went into a tirade of how she missed him.*...and tomorrow I can go to school! Papa said for you to pick me up tomorrow... Oh Mike-kun, I don't know how you did it but you got to change Papa's mind! Thank you so much!
