*Shouko went to where the dolphin pin was she smile and took it looking at it in her hand*

Shouko:Do you know the story of how she got this?...It was on the island...Rina-chan first day at school...she made lots of friends there....they were only human and being Rina who wasn't at all look like an elf fit in but one day her mother brought her to school...her life change all her friend bullied her...call he her a freak she has dirty blood her mother is a freak....at school she would cry so much...but when her mother came to pick her up after school Rina woulds smile as if her day was normal...her mother one day caught her being bullied she was about to tell them off but Rina block her....saying "It's OK...I'll change their minds mother,so please don't hurt them if you do then you're bad...but mother is nice so mother won't hurt them....that day her first friend mari-chan and her became friends but she got kill and rina witness...it was a human,her own race apparently it was because of Rina...well Rina thought so...before mari died she gave Rina that pin...

*shouko yawn*

* Hideki paid attention to Shouko, when she finished he looked at her. *

Hideki: Why are you telling me this?

shouko:i feel like you can help her smile a smile from the heart...but moreover i want you to be Rina's knight in shining armour...and beside i want her to smile a real smile.........

*Rina stir in her sleep dhr oprnrf hrr eyes to see hikdeki and shouko toillte*

*Mike realized how closely he was holding Aki, Turning red again from shyness and embarrassment, Mike set Aki on roof in front of him.*

Mike: Umm...... I, uh.... that is.....um..... I think maybe we should get to our classes. *They started toward their classrooms, Mike thinking about Aki's show of magic.* Aki, can you, use magic like that any time you want? I mean, ... you didn't yesterday with that big demon...... I know elves can use powerful magic, but so few others can master it.

*Mike was having a hard time coming up with the right words..... Could Aki help in case of an trouble? Mike could handle quite a bit of magic, but it was so very hard to defend against. Mike felt he was a match for the strongest demons..... but if they used magic too, things would be different. Could Aki protect him from the magic, while he protected her? Perhaps they fit together better than he thought.*


*In the hallway, Mike and Aki almost ran into Koichi as he stormed out of the school. Mike made a quick bow, wondering why Hideki's dad was there.*

Mike: Hello Tsuchimi sensei.

Koichi looks up: Don't you belong in class, humf... at least you aren't getting yourself in trouble, *Koichi looked down at Aki. * And you've got yourself a nice human girl, *Koichi brushes by and mutters as he walks away* not some inferior race slut like Hideki's.

*Mike looked down at Aki, a bit shocked.... what had that been about?*

*Aki followed Koichi with her eyes, still feeling bewildered about what he said. She replayed it in her head then she got indignant. She glared at the shrinking figure of Hideki's father.*

Aki: I'm not human! *She huffed since obviously the older man didn't hear her.* What was his problem? And what race slut? *She wasn't really expecting an answer and when she saw the Michael was just a confused at her she shrugged it away, she would just ask Rina or Hideki later. When the shock melted away, she and Michael got back into topic.*

Aki: I can't say I mastered magic, I have a lot more to learn but I'm good at it. It was essential since lots of other kitsunes-*Aki caught herself and gave a smile to Michael.* I guess you could say I needed to familiarize myself with magic when I was little.

*They talked more about magic until they reached Aki's classroom. Aki bid goodbye and said her thanks to him. When he left she peeked in the classroom, there was no teacher. Weird, she entered the noisy class and sat next to Kimara.*

Kimara: Where have you been? You said you wouldn't get into anymore trouble...

Aki: I didn't. *When Kimara looked at her suspiciously Aki raised her right hand.* I promise Kimara-chan, I wasn't in any trouble. I guess I wasn't in the mood for class, that's all.

Kimara: Well, you were lucky. The teacher wasn't here for most of the time. But he did leave an exercise to do. Minoru-sensei said he would collect the activity tomorrow.

*Aki nodded and did the said exercise. She wondered why Minoru didn't go back to class after they were called to the principal's office.*

*Mike's last class before lunch was Phys Ed, something he was looking forward to. The game was soccer, and though Mike had no experience, his team found he was an excellent goal keeper, in fact, the other team complained so much that the sensei had Mike sit out for a time. Mike noticed one of the smaller boys from the dog pack, that had surrounded Kimara that morning, sitting on the bench and went to sit next to him.*

Mike: That first year girl that you and your pack were talking to this morning........ she's a good friend of mine.

The small dog boy looked up at Mike: Oh?

Mike: Ya.... she's a really sweet and innocent girl........ If she were to get hurt, say knocked down, or run into....... If she got so much as a bruise, or a scratch, I think I'd get really upset. *They watched the game for a moment, as one player got up, limping, from a particularly vicious tackle.* It's so easy for accidents to happen at school....... a broken leg, broken ribs...... maybe and ear torn off. Don't you think? *Mike got up and walked off.*

The dog boy sat trembling for a while. He would tell Kenta, the other dogs should know this warning. That boy with the hard blue eyes, he talked softly, but there was a deadly tone to his voice. The little dog boy, Sieji, didn't like this, he didn't want to harass that Kimara girl, she hadn't done anything, and besides, she was cute. But he had to follow the pack leader or they would hurt him.... but the, she didn't. Seiji wondered, could he get away from Kenta's pack? He didn't agree with them at all, how could she oppose Kenta... could he too? Could the girl help him get away.

[Raine]

*Rina look from hideki to shouko,she blink*

Rina:ara?what's ging on?why is shouko-san here?

*shouko hug Rina*

Shouko:i heard you collapsed so i ran to check on you...

Rina:shou-san.....why are you here?i dont understand why are you helping me?

shouko:your my cousin....

Rina:i want the real reason...

shouko:It is the real reason...Rina-chan,i don't care about the races....but i just find it interesting because Rina-chan can come back to the clan and help us in the war.....i want to fight alongside Rina....

*Rina sigh,her cousin only saw her own desires never for others..*

Rina:i do not want to be in a war...

shouko:i know you can't but i'll find a way to get rid of that spell than you can fight with us....jaa nee*before Rina could say anything she run out of the room*

* Shouko had handed Hideki the pin before leaving. He handed it to Rina and smiled at her. *

Hideki: That cousin of yours sure is a handful, eh?

[Raine]

*Rina smile taking the pin,when she felt hideki's fingers her heart started to beat faster she look away taking the pin quickly,she hold it in her hands*

Rina:T-Thanks....yeah she is a handful for an 19 yr old....i don't blame her...to act that way...shouko's always been trying to act as an adult since age 5 in the elf clan...one time she hated me for being half elf because of me she didn't have a normal life....*she giggle*but now she looks up to me...weird huh?
