*Mike and Hideki continued their training, each learning moves from the other, and each showing an amazing aptitude for the advanced martial arts they were working on. Koichi watched the two, he was very satisfied that his son was showing so much interest in his training. But where did this Michael kid come from? Koichi had never seen another human with the speed and power of this kid, and were did he get that much training? Koichi walked up to the boys.*

Koichi, smiling: That's enough for today boys, wouldn't want you to burn yourselves out in one day. Pretty impressive, Michael, where did you learn your fighting style.

Mike: I, ah, learned it from.... my family.

Koichi: Hmm, I know the Tanaka's, I can't recall ever having seen you around, and they're pacifists, not real men.

Mike: Oh, I just transferred here from Osaka, I don't think I'm related to anyone here.

Koichi: Hmm, Osaka. You don't look Japanese at all.

Mike: I...I was adopted...... I guess I was abandoned when I was young, but I was raised by the Japanese in Osaka.

Koichi: So, you're probably American, there are a bunch of them at the base in Osaka, damn people have no morals. Good thing you were raised by descent Japanese people, not those decadent Americans. Hideki, you better get home and get some sleep, I'd suggest you do the same Michael.

*Koichi turned and walked away, thinking, they do grow them bigger in America, (Koichi didn't like Americans, with their idiot push for equal rights) good thing he was trained here though, might actually be worth something.*

Aki: Sure, bye...

*Aki put the phone back into its receiver. She wondered if Rina knew about the Tsuchimi family. Just then somebody knocked on the door. *

Aki: Come in...

*The door opened and in came Aki's father.*

Kyo: Hey there, kit...dinner's ready.

Aki: I don't feel like eating Papa, you think I can skip this meal?

*Kyo went over to give his daughter a hug and a kiss.*

Kyo: Sure, kit...I'll go face your mother.

Aki: Thank you.

Kyo: Is it anything you want to tell me?

Aki: No-not yet...I need to be sure of something first. *Kyo frowned and ruffled Aki's hair. Trying to lighten the mood he joked.*

Kyo: Is it about a boy?

Aki: Yes and no...*The solemnness in Aki's voice couldn't be mistaken.*

Kyo: Is it about the Tsuchimi boy you met?

Aki: Yes...

*Kyo's features darkened, he decided he better leave before he told his daughter too much. He leaned down and kissed her forehead.*

Kyo: Tell me when you've figured it out...and be careful, kit.

Aki: Yes, papa.

*The door closed and Aki was alone in her room, she left herself fall on her back...the bed bounced a little and she stared up at the ceiling. Things were getting confusing, there were so many unanswered question lurking around.*

*Mike sat at his small table, looking at the meal he had picked up on the way to his apartment. Mike sighed as he thought of the invitation from Aki's mother........ Mike opened his laptop and checked, he had a message from a friend at military command. His orders hadn't come from the military, but from somewhere higher. Mike wasn't surprised.... He wrote a report on the days activities, leaving out out a few things, trying to keep his friends form suspicion. Then Mike added one more thing, could they send him any information the military had on the Tsuchimi family.*

*Satisfied that he had met their requirements, Mike switched to his favorite web forum...... There was one person he often had chatted with, maybe she could give him some advice, he just didn't know what to do next, he never felt like this before.*

*Aki sighed as she tried to rethink everything that was happening. Giving up, she went to her computer and clicked the homepage button. Clicked another link and was in a forum. Her favorite one, she signed in then checked if the person she loved to chat with was online. He was. Aki clicked the name and sent him a pm saying 'hi.'*

*Mike was very happy that his friend "Yuki" was on the net right now. He felt she was a good friend and he had told her a lot about himself..... more than he's told anyone else. Now he told her that he had met a nice girl, who went to the school he just started, she was one grade behind him. He asked Yuki what he should do, what things a girl would like....... Mike wanted very much to show the girl he liked her, and not make a fool of himself, since he didn't have any experience at this. Mike hoped Yuki had experience with boys, and being a girl, could tell him how to impress Aki.*

*Aki smiled, her internet friend had a lot of questions. And it seems like he was falling in love, she wondered if she'll meet him and the girl he talked about, she seemed like such a nice person.*

Aki: What should I say...? *Aki thought of things to impress girls. What would impress her? An idea hit her and she typed.*

"Yuki": Well, girls like flowers given to them at unexpected times. Like for no occassion at all you give a girl a flower. It makes their day special. You should try to make that girl laugh too, any girl would be impressed by a funny guy. And girls usually liked gifts but there are some that don't care much for material things...a little outing for her would be good. And be kind to her friends, a part of her judgement comes from the people she hangs out with, unless she's one of those overly independent girls.

*Aki clicked send and waited for the reply, she hoped that it helped her troubled friend.*

(Ne, oldwrench...what should your internet name be???)

((online name Sgt. Sagara))

*Mike thanked his friend, he was sure her advice would be a big help. Mike promised to keep her informed as to how things were going, if she would keep helping him learn what to do. It was getting late, so Mike signed off and got into his bed. He had things well in hand, he had ordered more surveillance cameras, so he could put them in the school hallways too, and the computer he requisitioned for the club room should come in a day or two. It was a much more powerful system than you could easily buy, but he needed it for the face recognition software he was going to use with the surveillance cameras *

*Thoughts swirled around in Mike's tired head. Aki, the demon attack, the assassination attempt, school work, training with Hideki, Aki, the club, his new friends, the advice his friend Yuki had given him...... she was very kind, maybe if he had met her, she would have been his girlfriend, she and Aki were a lot alike. Mike fell into a sound sleep.

*After "Sgt. Sagara" signed out Aki went to browse the net a little more before she felt her eyelids weighing down. She yawned, turned off the computer and headed to bed.*

*It wasn't the first time she thought of what "Sgt. Sagara" looked like, somehow the image of Michael slipped in her mind, she blushed and shook her head. A few minutes of staring at the glow in the dark stickers covered ceiling she fell asleep.*
