Did everyone stop reading or something lol? I'm currently reading the third and final book of the Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson. Love it. Any Sanderson fans in here?

I haven't read any Sanderson bookd. I just finished reading The Best of Stanley G. Weinbaum. These are scifi short stories, all written in the 1930's. They may be old but they are still fun to read and in some ways, still have relevance to the human psyche today.

I still enjoy Manga :gg:
I could see myself reading the "Wheel of Time" series again. The story was neverending so I stopped around book 20

I found just the mystery book series for you, Sakura. It is the Joe Grey mystery series by Shirley Rousseau Murphy.

Joe Grey is a bit different for a detective....... he's a cat, But he and his girlfriend Dulcie have a secret, sor some reason, probably in the first book of the series, that I don't have, Joe and Dulcie have acquired the ability to speak and read. Joe's owner, Clyde knows this as does Dulcie's owner. The book I am reading is named "Cat Under Fire" in it, a local young woman artist has been murdered and her ex boyfriend, another artist, is accused and standing trial. Dulcie has been hanging around the young man's cell, and he has poured out his story to the cat, not knowing Dulcie understands all he says. She has also been sitting outside the courtroom window, following the trial and is convinced of the young man's innocence. Now all the two cats need to do is find some clue the police have overlooked and somehow bring it to their attention, without revealing their secret. And without getting into danger themselves.

It appears there are quite a few books in this series. I have two other books in the series I found at the second hand store. "Cat Spitting Mad" and Cat Seeing Double." In one of the books, Dulcie and Joe pick up a ward, a kitten, whose curiosity just might get them all killed.

so far the book I'm reading seems well written and is worth looking for.

Sadly there are no translations for me. It's hard to read literature in foreign language, it needs more concentration than I can ever come up with :gg:

I'm currently reading a bunch of comic books that were popular in Germany in the 1990's when I was young... not to forget the "educational material" I got

Ah, comics........ Stan Lee died. He was the creator of many of the Marvel comics characters such as Spider Man, the Hulk, and many others. I read many of those comics when I was young........ and they cost 12 cents at the corner drug store.
