time for new years resolutions.

1. Finish 5 min story

2. Live forever

I had a thyroid and kidney disease some time ago that kept me slim but caused fainting spells and collapses. The doctors had not recognized this combination so I had to spend a long time in hospitals. It was not until I was about 30 that a doctor recognized the problem. I still send him a Christmas card every year.
In the last months, however, I wanted to lose weight again, because I feel quite fat compared to before. I let that be, because I am still just under 24% below normal weight. I solve the problem by lying :)
I absolutely have to stay above 50 kg so that I can continue to donate blood. I have the important blood group zero negative, which can be given to any patient.
Yesterday I had 48.5 kg. I just drink a bottle of water before donating, then it's 50.

Yes, I'm still around, getting older but still going. I had a back problem for the last couple of months but am getting over that so I can get back to life again.

It's good to have you back. Somehow I dreamed this week that Dinky's writer's block had dissolved and she had finished her book. Hihi, a nice dream.
My imagination runs away with me from time to time.

I have a new girlfriend who is actually much shorter than me: she is 1.52 meters! (5 ft). She's about the bubbliest thing I've ever met. I have no idea where she gets all that energy. Probably concentrating the energy on the smaller body :) Or it just seems that way because she's 15 years younger than me. I help her with math homework from time to time.

At the airport starting our next adventure. We will be stopping in your area, have a layover of a few hours in Frankfurt on the way to Istanbul.

So, here I am a Frankfurter for 6 hours. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I don't like these long layovers.

Nope, taxes is what the government thinks you owe them for screwing things up.

We are in Antalya now. Istanbul and Cappadocia were interesting. One thing about Turkey, it's the land of cats. They are everywhere you go here.

Darn my pictures are too big for the site, I'll have to wait till I get home to post any.

At least masks aren't required most places here.

Yes, the mask requirement has been suspended. Reason: There are enough hospital beds and an overload of clinics is not in sight.

So if you would like to use one of the free hospital beds, just don't wear a mask. I hope you have a health insurance certificate for abroad. :pif:

Do you remember the old website Animekingdom? It seems we've actually outlived them. The domain is for sale for an unacceptable price.
So our little offender has given up.
