I just saw my granddaughter in the play, Lion King jr, She played Scar, the bad guy..... she was very good at her part. Some of the students from the high school she plans to attend next year approached her and asked her to join their drama club next year. Not bad for a middle schooler. The play overall was quite good. Some of those kids can act and sing very well.

Leilanni is also a pretty good artist. I would like her to post some of her anime art for us. She reminds me of an artist we once had here at the site.

The second one is scratch art, black paint on a white board, then you scratch lines in it. not bad for a 13 year old. The first pict is supposed to be my cat molly.

Wow that's already purretty good! (Actually... hm, that isn't my portrait is it?) :hmm:
I especially like the theme of both pictures. Of course - cats  Without intending to hurt Hiki in any way, the quality is already better than her early works when she joined AAW.
Send some cat kisses her way :thumb:

I'm still here, still dodging the pandemic virus. The wife is getting stir crazy, but I'm not too bothered by it.
Hope all of you have been well. Stay healthy.

Yeah absolutely no purroblem
  • Keep a distance
  • Wash your hands
  • Wash your hands again
  • No overreactions
  • Cats are virus free
Of course the last rule is the most important. Even if the inet breaks down for a while I have enough games downloaded to keep me busy for years. At my place there is a run on toilet paper (the three-ply one) some idiots are buying amounts that let them wipe for years and years to come :pif:
Now I want a japanese feature toilet

P.S. Sally has 36 cans of cat food

Life goes on...... The 7 inches of snow we got on Easter sunday is almost gone, finally. We actually got a bit warmer today. It's a bummer that most everything is closed, even the outdoor venues such as the arboretum. You can't even find a good place to go walking now.

I have my hobbies to keep me busy, when the wife isn't giving me jobs to do.

I got this metal earth model of the USS Missouri for my birthday. There were lots of very tiny parts to bend and install. It comes as three flat stainless steel sheets with laser cut parts. It came out quite nice.

I'm building a model of a WWII German Panther tank. It has a fully detailed interior so there are lots of little pieces to paint and glue together. It is going to take a couple of months to get this done. It's getting harder to work with these small parts, my hands aren't as steady as they use to be..... isn't it fun to get old.
