I use FastStone image viewer on my windows machines. It is a lot like the old ACDsee viewer, but with more capability.

The kittens are doing well, and into everything. They still have very sharp claws.

For a couple of years I'm on a Mac. As far as I know, a Mac doesn't solve problems, it just creates different ones.

Where a Mac shines:

Document management. DEVONthink Pro Office is one of the, if not the best tool for scanning, creating, annotating PDF files.
Web programming. A Mac is based on a Unix system which is the preferred (sorry: purrreferred) solution for web servicing and thus have a high compatibility
Design. It looks so *awwwwwwww*
Great Microsoft Exchange integration with iMac, iPad and iPhone

However, a Windows system also has it's perks:

Printing. The tools "FinePrint" and "PDF Factory" are super cool
Gaming. Still many games are Windows-only. I have to reboot every evening. But: the collection is growing.
Accounting. There is no useful accounting software for the Mac. I have to reboot every time to help O-kun with his taxes.
The Microsoft Office for Mac is a joke and drops about 80% of the featuresof the Windows version.

The kittens have doubled in size........ and destructive power. Good grief can those two get into trouble in a hurry. If they weren't so darn cute......

Ah I see I almost forgot about Halloween. I think I'll use my good old Hellcat costume. Alternatively I'll try an experiment and use a costume that has nothing in common with cat's and see if my friends notice me at all.
