Re: good things

Post by oldwrench » January 31st, 2019, 5:28 am

After five days with extreme cold temps, it will be nice to get to the weekend. Temps Saturday are supposed to reach 4.44c That is a fairly large difference from today's high of -26.6c.

Two grandsons have been here the last three days because they didn't have school. Koen and I built his Gundam model, it turned out very well. For 11 years old he is very good with the little parts. Wreck it Ryker (6yr old) has been terrorizing the cats and scattering toys everywhere. It will take me a month to get the house cleaned up.

I'm working on chapter 56 of my story......... where is it going to go now? Is it all falling apart? Check it out.

We could set a new record for snowfall in the month of February! Isn't it fun to set records! Hope the snow blower keeps running.

Ok, my mail box is buried deeper and more snow is coming, along with high wind. I'll add a picture of the snow out of my back window, and one of a Robin at my bird bath.

Hehe we have 13°C sunshine, the birds are chirping and it smells like spring. Kitty is going to have a sun bath in the park today :thumb:

We made it back from our cruise to Aruba and other ports. It was warm and nice on the ship and islands. Now I have to get back to writing the story % min reloaded.

We had a lot of rain a couple of days ago, with the record snows melting, it could cause lots of flooding. Good thing we live on the top of the hill.

It's a dark and ugly day and I'm at work trying to get the respect of my co-workers... it's hard and I feel purrobably like Misaki in Angelic Layer. Well I'm *almost* 1.65m and have purroblems wearing high heels every day. Not that I have many of them I usually fell like I'm dying after 2 or 3 hours. :pif:

That isn't far off average height....... I still don't know why women wear shoes that hurt their feet. They don't do a lot for me. Dinky likes those really high heels and wears them a lot ..... but she's 1.54 meters and her other half is 2.08 meters. (sounds a bit like Chad and Arisa)

I'm the smallest cat in the whole company, also I have a technical job and am working with engineers and purrogrammers. It was not love on the first sight I can tell :swt:
Ah, and being female doesn't help in that situation either. :pif:

I like small cats. I don't see what being female would have to do with job performance...... unless you are doing some very heavy programing?? :gg:

My daughter Rachel was a programmer for UniSys and was very good at it. When she quit to raise her kids, they really wanted her to stay on.

I hope your job goes well for you, I'm sure you are very capable.
