Rube: So, how does one get into...err...your job title?

Sarah looks over Allan and laughs: Looks like you don't even get to place your bet, Dan's leaving.

Allan, surprised, looks around: Well I'll be darned. I thought he would sweat it out for a few minutes before deciding to follow Elle. *Smiles at Sarah* I'm sure Emma was coming on a bit to much for him. Elle may tease him, but I think she is more the type of girl he would like. ...... Ok, I'm getting pretty hungry. This looks good, a cheese burger and french fries, with a big pepsi. I haven't had one in years. What would you like, I'll buy lunch, you too Nick. I really owe you one after being short with you last night.

Yoriko: Auditions and making the right contacts...

*Yoriko pointed at Marcellus.*

Yoriko: ...Like him. I don't think I would've come far if it wasn't for him.

Marcellus: You wouldn't have gotten anywhere if it wasn't for Himawari.

*Yoriko shot him an angry look but didn't say a word.*

*Rube was about to retort about this Himawari, when saw the look Yoriko, shot at him*

Rube: So...I have to admit, this is the first I ever met someone...um...err...with your high status...I'm growing as a boy, I'm as all guys once did, always imagine what it would be like to with a model.

*Rube takes a sip of his water*

Rube: So tell me, what do you like to do on your down time? Besides spending days in fancy hotels waiting for a shoot.

Yoriko: Normal stuff.. I guess. I just do things I feel like, sometimes read a book, sometimes just checking out things at the hotel or the neighbourhood. I don't really have a specific thing I do.. hehe. But I do always buy some presents for my family, because I can't always go there on birthadays or something.

*Yoriko sighed.*

Yoriko: Which reminds me...

*Yoriko didn't continue but in stead looked away.*

Yoriko: I wonder what's taking Katherine so long. I'll go check.

*Yoriko walked to the bathroom where she found Katherine. She greeted her briefly before going into a stall.*


Marcellus: Never mind her. It's almost her sister's birthday.

*Rube watches as Yoriko goes to check on Katherine in the bathroom and turns to Marcellus*

Rube: *sigh* I actually kinda know whats it like to miss your family...

*Rube thinks of something he can do to help or cheer her up*

*As Yoriko enters the other stall, Karen comes out with Junior*

Karen: okie dokie! All sety wety!

*still cooing to Junior, but then she looks up to see Katherine giggling silently*

Karen: Come on, I'll get those clothes for you.

*Katherine nods and follows Karen to her booth where she also meets Ken*

Marcellus: Well.. this goes a little further than that. But never mind.

*'Yoriko will hurt me baaaaaad if I say anything else,' Marcellus thought.*

*As Sarah leaves with their lunch orders, Allan gets a phone call.*

Allan: Crap, now what? Ya, what is it.

Burt: Allan, We have the agreement for the property. The lawyers say they can have the papers ready for Segwick to sign the title over to the corporation in a couple days. I've checked with the architect firm, they can survey and work up a development plan next week. We can have construction started within a month.

Allan: Alright.....No, have the layers write up the papers to turn the property over to me. I'll sign them when they're ready.

Burt: Are you sure? You always run your properties through the corporation. What's going on?

Allan: I just want to handle this myself. I don't want to fuss with other investors. I'll pay for this out of my personal accounts.

Burt: Ok, do you still want the architects to work up a plan?

Allan: Yes, I want to see a development plan. But don't schedule any construction yet. ........ I have to think about this some. Ah...thanks Burt.

Why am I doing this, why hesitate? This is a great opportunity, there's big money to be made here. But, Sarah...... Will you hate me for this........ Why does this bother me? I've never cared before. ....... What can I do, angel?

*When Yoriko heard Katherine leave, she came out and checked whether she looked okay. She went back to the others and sat down.*

Yoriko: Katherine is getting some clothes, I think.
