Wonderful windows 10 just about hosed another computer.
I decided to update my laptop to W10 after being badgered for months by Ms to accept the free upgrade. Well, I backed up my files and on the last day finally clicked on the upgrade. Ms assured me my computer and apps were all compatible and the upgrade proceeded with no hangups. After more than an hour of downloading and installing, it was ready and restarted the computer. It looked just great, my desktop came up ready to go......... After half a minute or so, explorer crashed and restarted, then did it again, and again. After watching this for a few minutes, I tried to shut it down, Explorer wouldn't stay on long enough to get to the power icon to shut it down. I finally got it shut down by using cont+alt+del and working from that page. After a restart, it started to do the same thing. I got into the task manager and shut down many of the unused processes, that slowed the crashing down. I got on to MS web site, I could find no help for the problem other than to download the full W10 to a disc and do a clean install, losing all my apps etc.
MicroSquash strikes again!!
