All Anime World

So I went to the mall after putting my students through their first midterm of the semester (a.k.a. The Grinder, though it wasn't THAT bad this time... I hope), hoping to get some late lunch in the form of a chicken sandwich. After that was dealt with (onion rings FTW!!!) I went to the nearest ice cream parlor for dessert, when I saw an old friend of mine wearing something that looked like Edward's cape. I walked up to her and, on closer inspection, it was in fact, Edward's cape. So I asked what she was doing wearing that on a hot day like today (33°C in the shade at 6 p.m., and it's the coldest this week, actually) and she told me there was an anime event just across the street. I thanked the heavens, for i had with me the iphone the uni had given me for experiments (only "good" camera i have at the moment), so I followed her there to take some pics of the event. Sadly, it was almost over, but i did get a few good pics of some cosplayers. Enjoy!

EDIT:
I forgot to mention, the event was because of the opening of a "everything and anything to do with manga, anime and otaku stuff store" in the city called Otaku Zone, hence the name of the event.

Those cosplayers did a very nice job. Now you have to convince the store to get an anime con together. Maybe AAW can be listed in the dealer room.

Ok, I have to ask. Was Lucy wearing shorts, or was she going for the "authentic" cosplay?
