Remenber that old saying turn the other cheek when some one hurts you.
How many of you beleave in that dusty old saying ?
Because it's hard for me beleave in that old dryed up crusty saying,
If some one hit me in the head I think I won't turn my other cheek
I might just get ticked off and pound his head.
why do they have weak beleaves for anyways

I believe it. I do it all the time... And they probably have those "believes" for those who have anger management problems ^____^ Nah, just kidding. I dunno why they have such believes and I don't really care. As long as they're usefull.

Actually, I use the more updated "Fool me once, shame on you. Try to fool me twice and you'll be found dead with a bloody 2 by 4 next to you."

I've used that all my life, well most of it, and it does work. A person who uses violence as a way of solving problems often brings trouble and shame upon himself. The world would be a much better place if we could leave revenge and retaliation behind us.

I beleave in leave well enough alone.
Would rattle snake go out it's way to strike ?
no it rather avoid you , but some jerks go out thier way to pester a a rattler and get them sleves bite.

even a rattle snake will do it's best to avoid the confrontation first. Also, I think we should be a bit above the animals and able to control our emotional responses, not just react on instinct. If we don't teach our children such things, like tolerance, respect, self control, they will not have these qualities.

Most old sayings have a great deal more substance when you understand where they come from. I think it makes sense to avoid trouble when you can - trading punch for punch is just asking for the problems to continue. The first challenge is to avoid being clouted in the head in the first place.

I read some where on the internet that the incredable hulk movie coming and the hulk action outfits put's a very bad impression on kids.
like this one incodent this 7 year old boy been watching old hulk cartoons and the old hulk tv serous and became impressed by it his folks got him a hulk action outfit the came with 2 pair hulk fists and a hulk mask for his birthday , well sadly the boy killed his 2 mounth puppy by throwing puppy agaist the bedroom wall.
the kid was thinking he was a incredable hulk.
3 years ago i was ilegaly thrown out in to streets ,I wanted to Kick the land lord arss, but instead I ran as fast as i can far far away from him.

If you turn your other cheek after someone hit you, you surprise this person. This could lead to two things: the person is hitting you again, or s/he stops hitting you. If the person doesn't hit your other cheek, that shows there's some humanity left in that person. Hope, believe and trust in God's creation are part of (some) religion, if you turn your other cheek, you basically believe that even your enemy is a good person... somewhere deep inside of him/her. You love your friend and your enemy.

That's my understanding of that saying, but then again I'm not religious. :)

Where does it say in the bible that God wants to you get killed ?
you are allowed to defend your self you know.
yes at times you can turn around and ignore the trouble maker.
but if that person hurt you and cause pain than I beleave in cursing that person's soul to total hell.
Women now carry mase cans and they will not turn thier other cheeks or forgive a muggers.
