Agree completely, Sakura! And Martin Freeman is perfect as John Watson. I love how Sherlock is a total drama queen, and John just kind of puts up with it. I have to say, the scene with the two of them sitting on the couch in Buckingham Palace, giggling at each other like school boys, is probably my favorite one out of the show.

I've been watching a series called "Brain Games". It's all about our brain and how we perceive the world. It's fascinating learning how illusions and slight of hand actually work. They use the fact that your peripheral vision isn't very acute. There is only a very small area in the center of your focus that can see detail at all, but peripheral vision notices movement very well. Another of the interesting tricks was how optical illusions give the sense of motion when there isn't any, and how optical gradients affect our perception. Even sound affects what we think we see.

My son and I watched "Captain America, Winter Soldier" and at the theater, Avengers 2 this weekend. both wild action filled movies were very well done. They have done a great job of bringing the Marvel comic universe to life.

I'm watching that new American Gods on Amazon. So far it's quite different to anything else. 4 stars!

Been watching Comet channel on cable tv. It has lots of really old scifi and horror movies. Some are so bad that they're good. I can't stop laughing.
