Wonderful windows 10 just about hosed another computer.
I decided to update my laptop to W10 after being badgered for months by Ms to accept the free upgrade. Well, I backed up my files and on the last day finally clicked on the upgrade. Ms assured me my computer and apps were all compatible and the upgrade proceeded with no hangups. After more than an hour of downloading and installing, it was ready and restarted the computer. It looked just great, my desktop came up ready to go......... After half a minute or so, explorer crashed and restarted, then did it again, and again. After watching this for a few minutes, I tried to shut it down, Explorer wouldn't stay on long enough to get to the power icon to shut it down. I finally got it shut down by using cont+alt+del and working from that page. After a restart, it started to do the same thing. I got into the task manager and shut down many of the unused processes, that slowed the crashing down. I got on to MS web site, I could find no help for the problem other than to download the full W10 to a disc and do a clean install, losing all my apps etc.

MicroSquash strikes again!!

Hehe a raccoon... it's both cute and stupid. Are they aggressive?

only if you argue politics.

Actually, they just lay down in the trap and look pitiful. I take them about 6 miles away and let them go in a wildlife refuge area.

I haven't caught any more coons, just a bluejay and a squirrel. I did get a picture of a doe deer sniffing the trap.

I have pictures of another racoon, entering the trap and eating the bait, without setting off the trap. He did this not once..... but twice. This could get to be a battle of wits.

two deer, eating my bird seed

So I have caught nine raccoons, one opossum, many squirrels, a few birds, a rabbit and a vole. My yard is a wildlife habitat!

Ah, but I did catch a cat in my trap. The camera is outside with the memory card in it so I can't post the pict now. It was a white cat with black spots. The one in the previous picture. It wasn't amused!

I caught racoon number ten for the year last night. There weren't any more in the pictures so maybe I have moved them all........ for now.

Now, Where can I get a trap large enough for a dear?

They have dug up the road I need to drive on to pick up the schoolboy I transport each day. This could get interesting.

Days are getting short, and a lot colder.

Deers are not trappable. Deers trap you. Did you know that one of the larger Lynx from cold climate are hunting for Deers - alone? So I suggest employing a Lynx the "deal" with your purrroblem. The problem is when you later want to get rid of the Lynx... I suggest getting a brown bear for that. And to get rid of the bear after he solved the Lynx-problem you should just clone a dinosaur. Well, you watched Jurassic Park didn't you? :thumb:
