A sinner in our midst!! We have to bring him in and brainwash............ err, teach him the joys of a good cup of coffee. Besides, coffee is cheeper than soda, and better for you.

First problem on the trip, both the wife and I ended up sith upset stomachs today. We are going to miss out on seeing the Barista making fancy latte´s and seeing the park with the national tree, a 250 foot tall palm tree. I really wanted to go, but they would have had to stop for the baños fairly often. Ah well, tomorrow it´s on to Cartagena, the Carribian sea coast, and the hot weather! Gee, I see the high temp for today at home is supposed to be 11 F. (too bad Dinky and JH :gg: )

I think I´ll go back to sitting on the balcony reading my book and watching the birds. Lots of humming birds here.

Sounds like you're having fun even though your stomachs were upset :)

Actually, it was a good day, other than having to make a few runs to the baño´s. I got to watch the anime I put on my little video player. Popotan and Gunslinger Girl 2. BOth are great shows. I´ll have to watch them at home some time, on a larger than 2 inch screen.

We made it to Cartagena, the warm Carribian coast. A couple days of sight seeing and then I meet up with Z2k. I´m buying lunch.

One more day in Columbia and then it´s off for a few days in Ecuador. It´s been a great time. I´d give a thumbs up to Zera´s country.

Seems like the only bad thing about visiting Columbia is having to leave.

And we had in the 90´s F, A beautiful sunny day. I met with Z2k here at about noon and we went out for lunch. We had a great afternoon, checking out the naval museum, walking around the city, and having coffee at a small coffee bar.
Zera´s a great guy, I´m glad he´s named after my grandson, William. I´d come back here any time.

Now to convince Zera to come to the university of Minnesota to work on his doctorate. He said he likes the cold.
