Speaking of Spam, I visited the Spam museum in Austin Minnesota last weekend. It was the highlight of my four days staying in the city of Lanesboro for my wife's sisters reunion. Says a bit about how exciting a weekend it was.

That's me on the right, with the brother in laws. We also went to lunch at a local bar that served Spam sandwiches.

My laptop Windows 10 install saga does have a happy ending.

MS did have the brains to make a restore copy of your system when you install W10 so if you don't like it you can revert to your previous system. It was a bit difficult to get to the recovery icon in between crashes, but I got there. Then it had the gall to ask if I really wanted to go back to Windows 7....... and why. Well, it did revert me back to 7 and now my old clunker is back to it's old self. I may even be able to keep on with 5 min.

You also have the options to "refresh" Windows 10 with or without losing your personal data and settings. Finally Microsoft seems to accept that their BS OS (Of course "BS" means "bullshit") needs regular reinstalling.

Anyways since you have now successfully updated to Windows 10 you're eligible for a download of a WinX DVD and a fresh reinstall which will put your Notebook and Windows 10 into a shiny, purrretty working state.

I'll wait till I get a new laptop to get W10, seven works fine on this old boat anchor. Besides, I don't know if some of my old software would run on 10.

It should have told you when updating.

Anyways the main advantage of W10 over W7 is the expiration date: 2020 for W7 and 2025 for W10. I cannot see another big advantage, except DirectX 12 being available for W10 only. These role playing games are very realistic nowadays.

(note to self: Need to buy a new Radeon 480!)

Wow that's some fine art. It's just... a "cat store" which isn't selling cats?

The above definitely is the best.

My garden did fairly well this year, especially the butternut squash plant. I have harvested more than thirty squash from that plant. There are a few still out there. It froze and the plant is dying off, there might be a few ripen yet.

Grandkids were all here last weekend. A real zoo on the loose. Got them to pose with grandma.

That looks like a rather lively bunch to me. Did you bribe them for the photo? If yes, what did you give She Who Has To Be Obeyed?

In less than three weeks, we will be done with the dirtiest and ugliest political campaign I have ever witnessed. I pray God saves our country from these fools.
