Gald to see you well and alive. With all the "weather phenomena" in the US there's a good purrrobability that at least one of the old gang is affected by a hurricane and might lose his/her home. Any news from JH? He was the last one I saw around here and it's already half a year isn't it? :pif:

"It's impossible," said Pride

"It's risky," said Experience

"It's pointless," said Reason

"Give it a try," whispered the Heart

Have had the flu the last few days, so been sitting here going through a few hundred gigs of image files, found one that might be avatar material.

iPhone X of course is what I want. I can afford new socks and a larger hard disk. :meh:

You forgot to tell, you want that life-sized and rideable.

It isn't what you can afford, but what someone wishes to give you. My wishes don't usually get into the I Phone X range. I wouldn't mind a Bugatti Veyron but that is a bit much.

The weather is unusually good this week. After a below average temps for the first three weeks of the month, the last week is above average, and has even reached 60f Very nice for November.
Now if the wife would just get over this flu that has had her down for two and a half weeks.

I have finished the model of Porco Rosso's plane, I just need to paint the Porco figure. It's a lot harder to paint the tiny details as I get older.
I got a model of Big O, the giant robot from the anime of the same name. Unlike the gundam models, this one has quite a bit of painting required. There is some very small detail to paint so I hope I can do a good job.

My son gave me a very humorous anime series "YUSIBU, I couldn't become a hero so I reluctantly decided to get a job". I'll have to tell you about it after I watch more of it.

Well, I bought the iPhone X anyways. *checking credit card bill*

My old phone is 4 years old (iphone 5s). Considering the update policy of Apple I can use it for 4 more years which breaks down the cost to 1/4th of 1149 Euro = 287,25 per year. This is much cheaper than the average Android which never gets an update and needs to be replaced every year.

My Galaxy 5s is an old model, I bought it refurbished. They have updated it several times in the year I have had it. Android works well for me, I don't need much, and I can get it for a lot less money...... $160 for my phone.

I'm sure you do, and can use it. It's kind of wasted on us old duffers. I just play a lot of free cell solitaire on mine. I do use it for maps at times, or a google search. I hardly even remember to use the camera much less messaging and such.

I finished Porco Roso and his airplane, they look pretty good. I'll have to post a pict of Porco and Curtis and the airplanes.

I'm starting on a model of Big O. I hope it turns out well. There is quite a bit more painting to do on it than on the gundam models.

Ok.......... I'm an Otaku.......

I found my son a good Christmas present, a model of the One Piece ship, Thousand Sunny, he won't be expecting that. He's a big fan of One Piece.
