Hiki's artsies (or something like that)
Re: Hiki's artsies (or something like that)
They were the names of two of the muses. Terpsichore was the muse of dance, Melpomene was the muse of tragedy.
Dogs have owners, Cats have staff
Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.

Re: Hiki's artsies (or something like that)
I would say "read from right to left" but that might be hard...
Translation (in case anyone's interested):
Panel 1: "I'm about to eat a muffin."
Panel 2: "I'm eating a muffin."
Panel 3: [2 Minutes Later] "Where's the muffin?"
Panel 4: "I just ate a muffin." "What?!"
Romaji (in case anyone is interested in that..?):
Panel 1: "imakara maffin o taberu tokoro desu"
Panel 2: "ima maffin wo tabete iru tokoro desu"
Panel 3: [ni fun go] "maffin ha?"
Panel 4: "tatta maffin wo tabeta tokoro desu" "nani?!"
This is one out of several (five so far) comics I'm drawing in order to remember the grammar I have to learn.. I'm planning on uploading all of them on my site when I actually have time to fix everything :'DTranslation (in case anyone's interested):

Re: Hiki's artsies (or something like that)
As promised, here is some information about the comic I'm dedicating to AAW~!
I'm going to just type whatever I wrote down, so maybe it's not really all that great sounding xD
"In ancient times there were some who could use magic. This magic formed as jewellery and people called these magic-users, Jewel Wielders.
The Wielders and non-Wielders lived in peace and when monsters attacked the Wielders would protect the non-Wielders. Until one of the Wielders felt he was superior to the non-Wielders. He urged all Wielders to join him and suppress the inferior non-magic people.
A war followed.
The Wielders were with less people even if they had all joined the war, but their magic was powerful and the war didn't seem to have an end. But then the non-Wielders found a sure way to get rid of the magic-users. Wielders could not use magic if their jewellery was destroyed.
Eventually the non-Wielders were able to win the war and to make sure something like that never happened again they took every Wielder's jewellery and destroyed it. By doing this every time a Wielder was born they ensured the extinction of the Jewel Wielders.
Of course the people had not forgotten all the good deeds the Wielders had done and in commemoration of these deeds people started wearing intricate jewellery.
It is now 200 years after the last Wielder was born..."
The world they live in is quite like ours, but it is (at the time the story takes place) more advanced, as in, they have more technology.
And without further ado, meet the female protagonist: Yralieen (ih 'ra lee en) I coloured this quickly, so it's not great or anything xD
ALSO. What are your favourite colours? I wish to use them in the story for jewellery :'D

Re: Hiki's artsies (or something like that)
I love the design of the neckless.
I know that this is just my take on the design, but it looks like the jewel is the magic and it is contained in a cage that is the neckless. I really look forward to seeing more of this.
Also my favoite color is blue. <- yes, I really am that simple.

There are 10 types of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those who don't.

Wow, that's a really nice looking ne-- girl! I mean, both!
And my favorite color is dark red.
P.S.
No, really, that's some really gorgeous design :o It would be awesome to have a poster sized image if that character :3

If we are going to go with a shade I would probably say sky blue.
