Wow, brings out the grandpa in me. Would like to give her a big hug.

Very cute. But she looks a little to happy to be "gloomy". :gg:

DANG....I'm soo jealous of you I could just...IDK. But you know what I mean.

You've got some serious slick style here with these latest peices, and the coloring is what makes them (the ones I could see) so amazingly epic. Sorry about the ridiculous wording, but I could think of no better way to describe these. They're that good.

To be a bit critical...since if I don't put some crit 'm going to sound like a retard...but your art would be even better if you put as much effort into line art as you do into coloring so crisply. The thing is, if I take away the color, I have blank line art, which is fine but still generic. Put more detail into your line art, just give every part of what you're doing your all...and you will have pro-quality work.

I remember my amazed look at Clamp's Sakura-artworks, especially the clothes. Normally every mangaka develops a character with just one or two sets of clothes and reuses them for hundreds of hours. Make it poorly and repetitive and you get something like Sailor Moon, or Dragonball this is what made Clamp outstanding.

This is why I dislike coloring it draws your attention away from the frills :shy:
But then I also purrrefer books over movies. And I play cards with friends once a week. Sitting around a table. Without Facebook or Twitter. While having a glass of wine.
I'm getting old, ne?

@Bunny: Thank you o3o
L-lineart *twitch* I seriously dislike making lineart. It gets so tedious...
That's why I want to learn how to colour without making lineart DX
Thanks for telling me though! I really appreciate it <3

@Sakura: That's why I like clamp too :3 all the different outfits <333
I do like colouring though :3 But only when it's good colouring X3
I wish I had friends who'd play cards with me once a week :sob:

I just finished a drawing when I read that you disliked colouring, Sakura, so I'll upload the lineart too :3 (Even though it fails due to some mistakes I made while making it T-T)
This is my new mp3 player (I decided to make a Persona for it XD), MeiMei <3

If you want to colour the lineart, let me know and I'll get you a .gif file without background so you can colour behind the lines :'D Unless of course you know how to remove the background <3 Or whatever :D

That's beautifully done, Hiki, wish I could see you at that con. The flowers are particularly well drawn.
